I sometimes like to think of a my hero academia-esque setting where people are born with zany powers. But I'm not really interested in superhero and villain stuff, just have silly peeps with silly powers and their day to day life.
Strelica is one of these OCs I've had from before, but the other day I thought of giving her some GFs. Who like everybody else, also have silly powers.

She and her 2 young children are going through the unimaginable - they are homeless and displaced, living in a tent and exposed to the elements, and fighting to survive without proper medical care, all while the weather gets colder and bombs continue to fall.

Concept art and early designs for Daisy/Tratnćica and her friend Violet from my short film, The magical girl.
Daisy's design is really fun to draw and even now, months after I'm finished with the animation, I still find myself doodling her on the side of my notebook. Her hair was also fun to animate because it emotes alongside her and makes every shot look more dynamic.
BONUS: hypothetical designs for their school uniforms. The conversation she has with Violet originally happened at school, but I think the magical girl graveyard is a much more interesting setting for that conversation and creates a much more impactful image. Also saves me the time of drawing a bunch of background characters lmao

i wanted to more personally tell you how much I love your short film project. Especially your use of color to convey certain emotions in each scene.
like the reds and oranges of sunset for emotionally turbulent scenes juxtaposed against crisp lavenders and bright whites of dawn for the innocence and ignorance that came before.
I really love the scenes that are paler and colored with greens and blues, giving them a sickly feel that goes perfectly with the visuals.

Ey!! I made an animated short! I teased it here months ago and it's finally here! wow!
The film is in Croatian with English captions. Content warning for Death, hospital settng and extreme coughing(?)
Hope you all enjoy it! Working on this was very stressful, but also very fun! I might post some concept art and extra side drawings i did related to the film in the next week or so.
In your Sailor Au, what is the role and intentions of Sailor Galaxia?, It seems that she has her normal alter ego
I'm still figuring it out, so all this lore might change in the future, but I'm Imagning Chaos as some kind of space "virus" that infects planets and slowly conquers them from within. The way Chaos "infects" a planet is by sending one of their "daughters" to be born on said planet, and they act as it's vessel and slowly conquer the people of the planet and destroy it. The daughter typically lives a normal life until she reaches adulthood, when she gains the collective knowledge of all previous daughters of Chaos and starts her mission.
Galaxia was actually born thousands of years ago, during the Silver Millenium times, but was put into some kind of stasis by Sailor Pluto. She was freed from her sleep recently (still haven't figured out how) and her release was what prompted all the senshi reiincarnating back on earth (if we're going by the analogy of chaos as a virus, the senshi are the Earth's immune system that reincarnates when a planet-wide crisis is about to strike)
