this wonโt solve every artistic impulsion, but if youโre someone who wants to do ambitious projects but struggles with completing them (or starting them), consider finding someone to be a Production Manager
Thereโs a reason why it usually takes so many people to make animations and games. Because doing collaborative work is hard and takes a lot of organizing to stay on track. A Production Manager is CRUCIAL to getting a project completed!! There are some artists that can handle production management on their ownโ on top of the art theyโre already doingโ but the vast majority of people canโt, and thatโs ok!
Production jobs will oversee things like:
- Creating schedules
- Enforcing those schedules, and monitoring everyoneโs progress
- Keeping assets organized and file naming consistent
- Tracking budget and costs, if applicable
- Interfacing with every department to make sure everyoneโs on the same page
- Helping keep everyone motivated driven
I know plenty of people who are phenomenal artists, but end up finding they prefer production management! Itโs a great way to stay involved in a creative field but not do the art yourself. Plus, having experience with creating will help your team feel understood. So if you like making spreadsheets and being organized, consider finding a project that needs help with structure!
you CAN do creative projects too if you want to!! I believe in you!!
Got sad about elsa being raised thinking she was a monster and a danger
Self and externally imposed isolation
Hour on days on years spent Hiding away for the safety of others
All dressed up for a funeral she didn't attend, grieving with a kingdom and sister who stood outside the 4 walls of a prison she thought she belonged in
Grieving alone
Got sad
