Sorry for the ugliness of the view, or should I be the one sorry or the occupation? Of course, dear reader, you could not bear the ugliness of the scene, but what should I and my family say? We have been here since the third of December,

Note, the iron thing in the picture in the back is the primitive oven in which we bake our daily bread using firewood and plastic. CAN YOU IMAGINE ????!!!!!!! Is your food covered in sewage, urine and feces? Sorry for the words but this is crazy, I'm going to lose my mind!

We have been here since the third of December,in addition to the filth and waste, it explodes daily due to the presence of 30,000 thousand displaced people. It explodes and the place here is flooded with filth, sewage and dirt. It is definitely a hotbed of diseases. Why do I and my family have to live, sleep, eat and cook here?????? Do you see this little threshold? A few centimeters that separate us and it's not enough, a lot of insects and worms,If you go out with your shoes, they will get dirty and dirt will enter inside. Hello, I am Raghad Qanou, a second-level medical student in Gaza, or I was. For a year, we have been suffering from genocide. I, my family, and my people have been exposed to it. Many crimes have occurred. We have seen a lot and are still seeing. I have lost my loved ones, my friends, my home, my university, and my entire future. We are trying hard to cling to life and survive! We have been clinging to life for a year, but we are tired, and we need help. We are very tired. We feel that we are alone now. We cannot find our daily food. We have lost our money, our jobs, our home, and everything. We have lost our life savings, on rubble, tents, and primitive life. Although it is primitive, it is expensive. In light of the siege and famine we are experiencing, there is no food or... Water or medicine, and if it is available, the prices are crazy. My family and I live in tents. Since last November, we have been living next to a public toilet with a destroyed sewage system. Can you live next to the sewage for one day? Me, my family and my younger brothers, we live hereAlmost a year ago, we haven't gotten used to it yet! We are not accustomed to the ugly sight of filth and excrement covering the oven on which we cook, nor are we accustomed to the insects and worms that feed on us all night, nor are we accustomed to the reproductive system diseases that we suffer from this polluted toilet, which we are forced to enter. It is also a mixed bathroom, there is no privacy. There is no respect for us as girls. We are subjected to terrible harassment and disrespect, and we suffer from many, many reproductive, digestive, and skin diseases, in addition to respiratory, due to the fire.
To cook food, that is, if there is any food. My brothers and I are very sick. We suffer from hepatitis. It is like an epidemic here. Everyone has yellow eyes, exhausted and tired. It is as if we were zombies. We are all lying on the ground, unable to do anything. It is heartbreaking the state we have reached. To him, and to see your world collapsing, and you do not know what the solution is, what is the way to end this nightmare, there is no way out, except this link,
Please, even if just a little, try to help us. It hurts me very much to see my family, especially my beloved brother, in this condition. He is thinking of committing suicide. The children here are crying and banging their heads against the wall from the force of the shocks they are exposed to, and from their regret for their childhood that was lost in the sewers and displacement. This is painful. I think I'm big, I can handle a little bit.
But please, for the sake of these children, donate what you can. If you do not have the money, post the link. Everything makes a difference in our situation, and remember, the little you have means a lot to us, and it may save the life of an entire family somewhere, so do not hesitate!

There has been a global campaign against Palestinian accounts on gofund me, including my account. My previous account was closed and I did not benefit from any of the money. I am sorry, but we do not want to despair. We have been clinging to life for a year. This will not stop us now. Please, the new link is below, spread it as much as possible! This is my little brother Mohammed, our only brother, and our spoiled prince. Look how the war has affected him?
He has lost his innocent and childish features, he has lost half his weight, he is worn out, tired, sick, hungry. Life did not allow him to join the first year of school, so we had to teach him ourselves, him and my little sisters, in a battle full of insects and lice, and hair as if our skin was melting from its place to get the sun's rays and heat inside it. Look at the color of his skin, how it changes? Is this not enough evidence that we are being roasted inside these tents that we were forced to live in to escape death and the desert?

He should be on school rn....

Please give my family another chance at life, get us out of this hell, give Mohammed another life, give him his childhood! My heart breaks to see my only brother, who we have always feared for and protected from everything, slowly suffering among us while we are unable to do anything for him!

Your little means a lot to us! Don't hesitate, a little means a lot! Share the link everywhere! If you can't donate, tell your family, neighbors, friends, coworkers, don't just stop here, share it as much as you can, then you will really contribute to saving our lives! You are our only hope.

Please, most of us suffered in childhood and suffered many traumas and are still trying to heal and heal our inner child. We now have a child who is suffering. Imagine the amount of pain when he grows up? Imagine that there is a possibility that he will not grow up at all. This is painful, heartbreaking. Consider him your inner child, save him!

Drawing is my way to save myself from pain, here in Gaza, I am tired of begging or trying to explain the suffering. It is clear to the whole world. What is happening to us is beyond genocide. I suggest that someone invent a new term for the amount of ugliness we have been subjected to for almost a year! We are slowly dying here. You can help us even with a little. Your little means a lot to us, and it can make us better for some time.

I do not understand this world. For 10 months, the occupation has been killing us, displacing us, and robbing us of all the necessities of life. This led to the return of polio, which it was announced a long time ago that it had been eliminated and would not return. This is great evidence of the bad conditions we live in here! What is the benefit of vaccines if the war does not end? They allowed vaccines so that the infection would not spread to the rest of the world or the occupation soldiers would be infected with it, but for us, they do not care about us..

My family and I have been living in inhumane conditions for months. It rained yesterday and we were drowned in rainwater and sewage. Why do we have anything to protect us from the cold of winter? There are no clothes, no suitable tent, and no wood to burn for eating or heating. We have no food to cook!!!!

The situation is tragic. Please, please. Whoever can help, do not hesitate. Your little means a lot to us, do not hesitate!

A photo from memories, captured in May 2023.

Everyone has a superhero. For any girl in the world, her superhero is her father.

He is our hero. He is a doctor. Before this ongoing genocide, he worked at Al-Shifa Hospital. He is a wonderful plastic surgeon, loves his work and is committed to it, to help people and relieve their pain.

When We were forced to be displaced to Al-Shifa Hospital at the beginning of the war, he was still committed to his work. He worked nonstop for 40 days, besides caring for his family, especially in these difficult times!

But unfortunately the occupation stormed and burned the hospital after We were forced to evacuate , raising white flags. We could not carry anything, just our souls. We fled to the south on foot. He carried his two children in his arms, and walked long distances for many kilometers during the afternoon among tanks and heavily armed soldiers, and even among decomposing corpses!

Finally, we reached the UNRWA school at Khan Yunis. He started working in Nasser Hospital, which the occupation also stormed and destroyed! Even when we were displaced, he was working.

All that happened did not stop him from performing his lofty job as a doctor. He has now returned to work in MOH hospitals to carry out operations of debridement and grafting of needy injured people, but he is alone, we are far from him.

He decided to protect us and made a decision to refuge in Egypt to be survived. While he stayed in Rafah before the beginning of the military operation there. Then he was forced to be displaced to Deir Al-Balah.

Every morning he goes to work at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and returns to his tent in Deir Al- Balah in the evening all week.

Is this what we and he deserve?

We stay away from our hero and torn our family. While at the same time, he is putting himself in danger while saving innocent lives!

For your information, his profession is considered more dangerous than ever before, due to the occupationโ€™s systematic policy of targeting hospitals and medical staff!

All the day, we are worried about him. May Allah save him. Moreover, there is no safe place.

We hope to reunite again, we want each other, we want our home and our dreams!

We need your help and support to meet our father again, reunite our family and rebuild our lives. Little matters! Your little means a lot to us.

Please, donate or reblog this with others.

Our story is here:

This was not our only tragic story in this genocide, every day was a struggle for survival!

Thanks!

To avoid fraud, I am talking about people I have actually met and dealt with for years.

Let me introduce to you our great doctor Islam. I know him personally and his wonderful family. We have been neighbors all my life, and he was my family doctor. We also met again in one of the UNRWA schools in Khan Yunis and in Rafah. The doctor is one of the greatest people I have ever seen in my life! How he cares about his family, and committed to his work, and gives everything he can for the sake of both! Above, you will find a very short summary of what Dr. Islam suffered with His family during this genocide, but the greatest pain now is that he is here in Gaza, living in a tent and facing death every day to reach Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis to carry out his noble and humanitarian work, and save many wounded and sick, all of this while he is alone, his family and children are far from him, I know him. I know how much he loves his children, and how much he suffers from their separation now. Help them to reunite the family again! Isn't this worth it after all the sacrifices and pain?
He has relieved everyone's pain since the beginning of the war. Is there anyone who relieves his pain now?
He worked in 3 hospitals throughout the war and was forced to leave them at critical times because the occupation stormed them, burned them, and executed their medical staff. He escaped death many times, and despite that, he returns to his work as a doctor so as not to abandon his people at this time. Can we all? Should we not give up on him now?

Attention please !!!

Hello, my name is Noha, a mother of 4 children in Gaza. We now live in inhumane conditions, lacking all the necessities of life. We have lost our home and our loved ones. We have been forced to move more than 9 times so far and we are now subject to an evacuation order. My children and I were forced to live in this. The infected place, in tents that do not protect us from anything, neither the cold of winter nor the heat of summer. We have been here for months, among the filth and sewage. My children are sick and suffer from wasting, hepatitis, and many other complications, skin and respiratory diseases. We cannot obtain food or medicine. There is no water for cleaning or bathing. There is no place to shower, we literally live in filth!! Diseases and epidemics, what is our fault in all of this? Do we have to face all this to survive death? To die slowly every day? From hunger, thirst, illness, fatigue, or even from depression and fear! My children long for their warm bed and our beautiful home, but now they have turned to ashes, missing their schools, their friends, and their most basic rights as children! They miss their forgotten childhood among tents and water lines, searching for food or killing harmful insects that attack them throughout the day!

I created this link to try to survive and save my children from this nightmare, so that we can begin to recover and regain our dreams. Your help is our only hope!

Your little means a lot to us, don't hesitate! Your help could save the life of an entire family elsewhere
This is my teacher, Noha, a great, compassionate, beautiful person, very sensitive and sympathetic. She was always our first supporter and our second mother, even when we did not understand her at school. Her house was always open to us. We visited her and she honored us as if we were in her home, and treated us as her children with all love, but The situation has changed now and all of our lives have been turned upside down because of this genocide. I met her a few days ago and she explained to me the tragic situation that she and her children are living in. They are seriously ill. I entered her tent and saw them all lying on the bed, doing nothing but breathing and groaning in pain. We are all here helpless , But I tried to help her as much as possible, because of her great kindness to me since my childhood. We need someone to authenticate her donation link, and spread it as much as possible. Please, none of us deserve what happened. We were reinforced in our homes and our city. Now we are begging for help. Help, for safety, for food, for medicine, please!
Note : Their old account has been suspended, so this is the new link, I hope you understand

Our lives are threatened all the time, every minute is a confrontation with death of all kinds, bombing, captivity, kidnapping, rape, hunger, thirst, disease, heat, insects, depression and shock, many causes of death. Please help us! Everything is terrible!

Your little means a lot to us, don't hesitate! What you contribute saves the life of an entire family somewhere else!

Hello, I am a human medicine student from Gaza City. I am asking you for urgent help in publishing the link for my family and delivering it to people interested and able to help us. I did not want to do that, but the tragic situation we are living in is what made me have to do this. I feel sad and helpless, after we had Everything, we are now homeless on the streets, we live in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, filth and waste everywhere, we sleep on it! We suffer from terrible heat, insects and scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, and the danger of pollution and terrible diseases.Especially digestive, respiratory and reproductive! My younger siblings are suffering and very sick. They are terrified of everything, especially scorpions and insects. My father and mother cannot bear it any longer. You have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this goes away in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age you should To rest in it, you are forced to start over !!? , but the most important thing now is to try to stay alive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us! I ask anyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put himself in our place. How can a person who has lived with dignity all his life accept this? We are dying slowly every day. Please, if anyone can help, even if just a little, do not delay! Your little means a lot to us!

the barbaric occupation bombed a school containing displaced people in northern Gaza. They bombed them at the time of the fajr prayer while they were praying, hungry, thirsty, tired, and had been displaced for months. Imagine, after all this, being killed in your pure moment with your Allah to pray to have safety gor u and ur kids . They killed more than 120 people, only a few of them were known. As for the rest, they were burnt body parts mixed together. Since dawn, people had been trying to identify the bodies, but to no avail. They put every 70 kilograms of scraped meat and carcasses in a plastic bag and consider it a complete corpse. Different organs from each person are placed in bags and buried just to give the martyr his right to burial. It is a painful day. Let us remember at the beginning of the war when ice cream refrigerators were used as mortuaries. And now this, every day is a new disaster
If you want to help, even if just a little, let us try to survive here. Please visit the following link and try to help๐Ÿฅบ, even if just a little, it could save our lives. Your little means a lot to us, do not hesitate !!!
I drew this to express a little about the conflict we live in every second, a lot of voices and fears, a lot of helplessness and futile striving, a lot of fear and hunger, many, many attacks the Palestinian every second, there are many causes of our death! What's terrible is that you face them all at the same moment!
I feel helpless and terrified about me and my family. If you can help, even a little, do not hesitate. Your little means a lot to us.

artwork by raghad qanou follow: @rhq2744 verified โœ”: no. 221 on el-shab-hussein/nabulsi's sheet

dear moots/lovely lurkers- please read ๐Ÿ–ค

raghad has finally reached the very first milestone in her fundraiser! that's right gang, thanks to the continuous support of friends/strangers alike, raghad's family has raised a whopping โœจยฃ5,095โœจas promised, here is another beautiful original by miss raghad herself ๐Ÿ–ค

for those who haven't gotten a chance to meet her yet, please allow raghad to introduce herself in her own words:

Hello everyone, I am Raghad Qanou, a second-year human medicine student at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, or rather, I was like that, before I lost everything, literally everything... Before the 7th of October, me and my family [8 members] were living in our cute house in the Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza, after huge suffering to repair it and return to living in it after it was destroyed in the 2014 war on Gaza. My family and I were forced to leave our home and forcibly move under fire 7 times so far! All this to escape death and hold on to the last shred of hope for a decent life! excerpt from raghad's gfm campaign page (read full story here)

i first met raghad sometime in june after she messaged me here on tumblr. one of the first things she shared with me (besides her name lol) was this piece:

title: waiting for a ceasefire "only hope and art keep us alive here in gaza ...." -raghad qanou

since then, we've been able to chat a handful of times-- i told her how much i loved her artwork and she excitedly shared even more of her work with me

raghad is a talented artist- a loving sister- a diligent student- a wonderful daughter- and someone who deserves a chance to live a life worth living. her whole family does

they continue to suffer through horrific living conditions and rely on y'all to help carry their burden. to reveal yourself so vulnerably to the world is far from easy. so often, we are told to grit our teeth and push through whatever ails us in silence. but this is a type of pain that cannot and should not be felt alone. and it will take everyone to band together so we can begin to heal

raghad's campaign still has a long way to go. to help things move along, i am proposing another art reveal โœจ

if we can get raghad to ยฃ15K- i will unveil another beautiful piece from her collection of artwork!

as of posting, raghad's family has raised ยฃ5,095ย / ยฃ55,000.

for those able, please consider donating by clicking the link below + share this post so others may get the chance to help out too ๐Ÿ–ค

tags for reach below cut (note: sorry gang, ik we're not really moots. if you're here- it's cause i pulled people from a post that promoted a gfm in the past. please let me know if you do not wish to be tagged in future posts. no hard feelings, truly ๐Ÿ–ค)

๐Ÿšจ Urgent: Low of Funds! ๐Ÿšจ

Hello everyone!

I would like to spotlight a particular fundraiser.

Raghad (@rhq2744) was a human medicine student in her second year at Al-Azhar University before the genocide began. She attended lectures, collaborated with her colleagues and professors, and enjoyed her university life. It was going well for her.

Until it didn't. Bombs dropped as the air chilled and the leaves turned red and brown. One after another. The horizon bled orange. It was daytime at night.

Everything she knew was gone. Buried under the rubble. Brunt to the ground. She was no longer a student experiencing the best time of her youth.

While it is heartbreaking to know her education is halted, let's take in the fact that she is a powerful woman in STEM! Don't we love to see it? We most certainly do!

So let's help Raghad! Her fundraiser is extremely low on funds. As of writing this, ยฃ4,470 out of ยฃ55,000 has been raised. That is not even a third of her goal!

Please donate. Consider giving as little as ยฃ5. It may seem like a small amount, but it does make a great difference. Especially if everyone pitches in!

Do not forget to reblog and share her story! It will give her fundraiser the much needed exposure and momentum! It is the least you can do.

Thank you!

I painted this drawing after the Khiyam massacre in Rafah, when people were burned and children were beheaded. After they had been displaced and displaced several times in search of safety, they killed them in their deceptive safety .....
