I shreiked with glee over your tav/gale portal intro picture. They are just so cute I love them!! Ieee encore encore!!!
THANK you UVU they give me so much feelings 😭❤️
Not really a question, but I love your art and I can’t wait to see more work from you come 2024 🥰
On a side note, you helped me remember an old childhood memory of a fairy tale book my grandmother got me years ago, so thank you for reminding me to buy the book again jeje 😁🤣
This is the most wholesome ask I’ve got!! ☺️💖 thanks for sharing and yes, do it! Find this book and buy it
And THANK you, it wasn’t a really productive year but I hope the next one will be much better!! Happy New Year! ✨
I recently commissioned @riense to draw Rolan with my tiefling Tav, Juniper. Thank you so much for this gorgeous art. They look so happy and so cozy. <3333333333333
Could I ask how you take pictures/edit your drawings that are traditional? 🥺 They look amazing and super clear
Oh sure! There is nothing very special about the process.
I am too lazy to use a scanner, so I take photos with my phone’s camera.
The only important thing is lighting. Natural daylight is the key. It saves a lot of time and gives really nice-quality pictures. (the best time is a bright but overcast/cloudy day btw) I just use a table by a window or a windowsill. So the whole process takes a few minutes. With artificial light that would be a different story.
For edit… I correct levels, contrast, brightness. Just a little. Because, as I said, the lighting does all the job. Depends on situations some other minor adjustments are required (like color balance). But in most cases the mentioned basics are enough
Also, I fix a perspective/distortion. Especially if this is the whole sketchbook pic and not just a single drawing. This is not really necessary 😅
I guess that’s… all?
Few sketches I did this…summer ?
I lowkey like Varre ones so maybe I’ll use them later digitally
