The 1965 Indianapolis 500 was the 49th running of the race. It was run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana, on Monday, May 31, 1965. In total domination, race winner Jim Clark led 190 out of the 200 laps (A.J. Foyt would lead the other 10), and won in the first rear-engined car at Indy. His pit crew for the race were the Wood Brothers of NASCAR, who were hired by Lotus due to their efficiency in pit lane.

Honestly incredible win from the Dames, almost lead the whole race and 100% won on merit.

Prayer circle for the Dames to not have some weird ass bad luck happen to them while fighting for the win

The ACO's global endurance racing ladder

I was asked by @historygeek12 on a short explainer for ELMS' support series, this has gotten slightly longer than expected (oops). But hope this helps!

Similarly to the FIA Global Pathway (from Karting to Formula One) the ACO has their own Endurance Racing ladder designed to help aspiring drivers to one day compete at the 24H of Le Mans. Part of this ladder, are ELMS and its support series.
