Robin x Starfire

A fan blog dedicated to the love between Robin and Starfire, in all their various wonderful incarnations. Includes the comics, the animated cartoons, and whatever other mediums they may appear in.

Hello Robxstar. You remember the last scenario I dropped for you where Robin throws a birdarang at a supervillain and accidentally cuts off Starfire’s bikini panties?

So imagine he and Star decide to head back to the tower and have excused themselves to Cyborg, Raven and Beast Boy who are off for some pizza. Star, holding her damaged panties up, lets Robin take her back on his R-Cycle. Once they’ve shut themselves alone inside the tower, Robin breathes out in relief that they’ve got themselves away from prying eyes. Right when he turns to Star, suggesting they get her a fresh pair of panties, her cut-up panties go landing on his head. Next thing Robin sees Star smirking at him and doing a casual, suggestive pose with only her tank top and boots still on, but her modesty exposed to him. She teases him over how eager he was to get her naked so soon.

How do you picture Robin reacting?

Probably flames red from neck to ear and goes braindead for a little bit, if it's earlier on in their relationship. (I don't remember if they had been established for a while or not in your last scenario.) If they've passed that awkward stage she might still make him a little flustered but I think he'd get over that quickly and focus on the business at hand, namely, getting her fresh underwear.

He might make a cheeky comment back while he passes them to her though.

As shown in the wildfire comic most of the honorary titans know about blackfire and how evil she is. Do you think they were also informed about terra including her crimes against jump city and if any of them get a chance to meet her in person do you think even though they might have mixed opinions about her because she was temporarily a bad guy they would consider her lesser of two evils compared to blackfire. I certainly do after you explained terra's issues.

IF Titans West told the wider network about her, sure, they'd probably consider her in a more sympathetic light.

But frankly that's a massive if for me. I don't think they would tell the Honoraries about Terra at all. Both to hide their shame in having been taken advantage of and betrayed and to give her a measure of privacy now that she's no longer got powers and wants to be normal.

Hi it's been awhile hope you had a good year. Say if after the Aftershock parts 1 and 2 the titans faced criticism from a few of the jump city citizens because of the whole terra crisis. What if some people blame the titans for letting a girl they tried to make part of their team and show mercy to help a terrorist take over the city causing them to doubt that five teenagers can be trusted to protect their City because superheroes are not the titans are still teenagers capable of letting their emotional sides get in the way of ration. It would also be terrible if terra in her villainous mode actually killed people even though it's most likely not the case but implications are still there with Slade telling Terra she's done "unforgivable things". And how do you think the titans would react to such criticism.

Well you're kind of assuming the general populace would know about the nitty gritty details. There would be speculation, certainly, but for the most part I think the Titans's own given statements would have to be what they would go off.

And I honestly don't think they would make any public statements until after the whole events of "Aftershock". So their characterization of Terra would likely be more sympathetic at that point.

"She was lost and confused and Slade manipulated her and turned her against us, but she fought back against him and gave her life to stop the volcano from destroying the city." would be the general summary of their address I think.

I've read your post on the episode Go where the titans first met. When Starfire said the word nice didn't exist on her planet do you think that was true or she was just making that up because she didn't want to involve the other titans in her fight against the gordanians. Also when cyborg cut to the chase and told her being nice meant being nice do you think he was basically saying she knows what the word means and didn't buy her whole the closest word is weakness thing and what do you think the other titans were thinking when she said that since only cyborg was the one who told her plainly that if she wanted any hospitality she had to change her attitude.

I feel like I've definitely talked about this before. The Tamaranians clearly do have some concept of "kindness" but Starfire's inner translator is having trouble with "nice" in the particular context in which she encountered it. Language is tricky and imperfect after all.

She does seem to start understanding as the episode goes on that "nice" is closer to "kind" than "weak".

But no, in the moment, she meant it honestly, they didn't have this word on her planet, this is the closest her mental translation is providing and she doesn't like the implications.

Hi I just wanted to say I appreciate that you're not one of those fans who don't think Blackfire's cool and see her for the petty bitch she is. But I've seen your post on what it would take for her to have a redemption but I think she has a lot to make up for before that can happen. I found her actions in Betrothed to be where she crossed the line especially if she knows her sister likes robin. But what do you think would have become of Starfire if she said I do. I've seen a lot of movies where characters race to stop a wedding that will lead to disaster from happening but in real life there is such a thing as divorce but seeing a Starfire and glrdlsklechhh come from alien cultures that probably have different rules do you think if she said yes she'd be trapped in a loveless marriage with no man's of getting out even if the other titans told her it was a lie. Robin did say they had to tell her the truth before it's too late implying there was no going back once Starfire said I do.

I can't see the Tamaranian populace ever accepting the union as legitimate once the plot is revealed. If divorce didn't already exist it sure would pretty soon lol.

The reason you race to stop the wedding before the bride can say I do is mostly for the drama, it's a trope, cliche at this point but hey.

I heard a theory that the reason blackfire is more fluent in English than Starfire is because she kissed numerous guys to learn English. If that's true do you think she's basically a G rated version of a woman who "really gets around" as evident by her flirtatious nature.

I mean basically. Could definitely see her overcompensating for the fact that people think Starfire's prettier than her.
