It seems that Raven and Velma seem to have mutual literary interests. And, like Daphne said, Velma seems to have a type.

This is a scene from "The Wrong Stuff" an episode from the 1st Season of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. This aired on November 28, 1985. I'm not sure if the writers (Stanley Ralph Ross, Story byโ: Flint Dille) realized just how scary and accurate this scene would become.
People tend to forget that the cartoon version of Cobra Commander, when he was not hindered by his own cowardice or ego, was pretty savy.

Sorbo, noted alpha, intellectual, and star of Cameo..
The Asylum makes better movies than Kevin Sorbo.
There is more entertainment value in every single "Sharknado" movie than "God's Not Dead".
If a Kevin Sorbo direct to DVD movie was sold in a 7-11 bargain bin at a buck 99, it would be a incredible fucking rip off
I can do this all day
Hell, **I** can make better movies than Kevin Sorbo!
Granted, it would be remakes of both the 1986 animated Transformers movie AND all the live action movies using my TF collection and my iPhone camera, BUT MY POINT STILL STANDS DAMMIT!!!
Gentlemen! Are we not a fair and just society? Do you not think this discussion should be presented with a valid counterpoint? While deep in my heart I want to cast Sorbo away on a drifting piece of ice never to return, we cannot condemn this man before someone tries to present an argument in his defense.
Very well. I will do my best to salvage Kevin Sorbo's honor, even though his integrity is the size of a grain of decomposing rice from a rundown dollar store.
If Sweden box office numbers are to be believed, Kevin Sorbo HAS made a decent movie. In 2011 he starred in the film "Poolboy: Drowning Out the Fury" about a Vietnam veteran who returns to his home in Van Nuys, California, tortured by his past as a pool boy. He is upset because while he was off fighting in the war, Mexicans overtook the pool-cleaning business. So, he sets off on a mission to reclaim his vocation and get revenge on the man who killed his wife and son. Sorbo delivers an amazing performance and is only upstaged by Danny Trejo, Mark Curry, Jason Mewes, Alana Ubach, Ahmed "Meesa star in more Poo Doo" Best, Ross Patterson, Edi Patterson (no relation), Bryan Cullen, Al Callabero, second unit director Chip Melford, Braxton Davis, Angel Fajardo, Brent Culbert, prop manager Eddie Johnson, Louis Papas, and Andy Hurst whose scenes were scaped on the cutting room floor. I feel once you see that movie, you will understand Sorbo can be an astounding actor when he is.... excuse me. I'm having a little trouble presenting my argument over the urge of throwing up. Can I just wrap this up by saying.... hold on.... aw shit... sorry, I got to run to the ladies room.
(Jenni did not make it to the ladies room in time.)
Ok, full disclosure: I HONESTLY thought airebeam was joking. There was NO WAY IN HELL something like could possibly be a real movie. On paper and in theory alone, only an absolute fucking moron would think the concept would be something that should be made into a real movie. I completely underestimated how absolutely fucking stupid movie producers can be.
Yes, this is a real movie, yes Danny Trejo is in it and yes, I only found out about this fucking train wreck because of Bluesky.
I know that "A Minecraft Movie" is not looking good and that is me being as polite as fucking possible. But given the option, I would gladly sit down and watch both that and "Borderlands" before even thinking about seeing that movie.
Futaba Prepares For The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct
Futaba: Aaannnd...DONE!!!
Ren: Did you REALLY set up an entire HDTV up here to watch the Direct tomorrow?
Morgana: Better question: HOW MANY INSTANT NOODLES DO YOU HAVE HERE?
Futaba: I only got them so Ryuji wouldn't complain about not having any.
Ryuji: PLEASE ANNOUNCE FINAL FANTASY 7, PLEASE GOD LET THEM BRING IT TO THE SWITCH 2!!
Makoto: You really shouldn't get your hopes up too much, Ryuji.
Futaba: Says the girl who wants "Yakuza: Like A Dragon" ported over on Day 1.
Makoto: ...Don't judge me.
This week, Nintendo will be having a Direct that will be focused on their next home console, the Nintendo Switch 2. I haven't said too much about the system, or to be more precise, I have not had any time to actually sit down and collect my thoughts on it. The original Switch has been around for 8 years now, and that is a remarkably long time for a Nintendo home console to be active, as the average time for their game systems tend to be 5 years between systems. The Nintendo Switch right now is the sole exception to this trend, and the fact that it has lasted this long is in many ways a miracle. But time marches on and technology evolves.
We got a small peak at the design back in February and the basic design has not been altered too much, but there have been some notable changes to the system, which include additional ports in the base console, magnetic locks for the Joycons and the addition of a C button, which function has yet to be revealed. And with the Direct coming this Wednesday, I guess I have some things I want to address:
-A new Mario Kart will be a launch title: If it's not a launch title then it will more than likely be released before the end of the year, and we are going to see an expanded roster and bigger courses. I also have to believe Online play is going to be just as big.
-The next 3D Mario game will be announced: As far as I can remember, there has almost always been a 3D Mario title to be released within the first year of a system release. Super Mario Odyssey was released on October 27, seven months after the Switch was launched. What the new game will be like is anyone's guess at this point.
-No Smash Bros. announcement...YET: Most likely, we will hear something about it next year.
-Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Z-A: It happened with The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and Breath of the Wild, so Nintendo Switch 2 versions of these two games are not out of the question. And I do not think these will be the only ones.
-A Nintendo Switch 2 version of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake games: This is a personal hope of mine, given that supposedly the Switch 2 s a lot more powerful than the previous system. And with how things are now with Nintendo and Square Enix, I would not even bat an eyelid if they really do put these games on the Switch 2. I also think the possibility of certain other very popular games being ported to the Switch 2 is very high.
-Nintendo Switch Online will get GameCube games: GIVE THIS TO US NINTENDO, YOU OWE US THIS BOON!!!
-Atlus ports certain other games: I mean, come on, Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor Refantazio? Those games would sell like freaking pancakes on this system. (The only reason why I'm not playing Metaphor is because I'm STILL PLAYING PERSONA 3 RELOAD. And yes, I'm on the October Boss. Yes, that event is about to happen...damn it...)
That's all I've got for now. The only thing left to do is...wait... But for now though enjoy the beats of a rapping monk.
