This started as a normal (as much as that word can be used to describe Rocky, anyway) doodle where he was holding whiskey or something, but I decided he can’t be trusted and left him with the anachronism juicebox for everyone’s safety

I’m currently afflicted with Terminal Grad School Disease, but I’m really looking forward to the Lackadaisy short and had to fit in an Ivy! Rest assured she’s getting into all sorts of shenanigans that’ll go very smoothly and absolutely not have lasting consequences

My slightly messy contribution to the tarot card project a server I’m in is doing (this is a maybe-loose interpretation of Strength). It’s cropped a little given tumblr’s formatting, but hopefully looks alright! One day I’ll use these characters of mine for something :,) For now they get vaguely cryptic drawings, instead.

This is a short comic story that I first drew in 2019, but I lost it when my hard drive crashed. So I drew it again, but I figured if I *had* to start over I would make it look nicer. In the end I was aiming a bit too high above what my out-of-practice level of skill was, and I ended up struggling with it a lot. Whatever the end result, I can’t say I didn’t try my hardest, aha. That said, I think I’m starting to learn that it’s better to finish my art and have the opportunity to learn and make more than to fixate on each and every thing I make. It’s not fun!

These are two characters that I want to use in a much larger project eventually. It’s something quite a bit less silly than this, but I wanted to get some practice in drawing their interactions. The most enjoyable part was absolutely drawing the stupid cat, though.
