dating sometimes feels like being a housecat in a living room full of guests who keep trying to pick you up and stroke you and as soon as u get out from under the couch to consider sniffing one of their hands they immediately swoop down and catch you in a deathgrip and act like theyve accomplished something
but also imagine this housecat can speak and says from under the couch 'i do want to make friends and get to know all of you, i am just a bit overwhelmed with all the attention, please be patient with me' and the outcome is still the same
