I'm having a cat emergency if anyone can help. Here's the baby in question. Little man is home for the night. Providing he doesn't get worse/vomit no more tests for now (pending lab results). We have him isolated and on an antibiotic. Gonna open emote comms soon to raise more money.

Creation is a weird thing.
You make something because you're excited about it, or you're plucking your little tiny thing out and sharing it because you just think it's neat - a character, a pairing, a tale that has captured you and you want to share this thing that's lit up your mind.
But there's nothing you can do about what happens next - how others will see that same thing - how they'll respond to it, or to you. You're putting your heart on the table and that can be terrifying and exciting.
So often it's wonderful; but it's not always. Sometimes you get heartbroken in a whole other way you didn't realise you could, and there's something so painful about realising you've lost something you loved dearly because of how people responded to it.
How perhaps others saw something you didn't intend, or took only the bits they wanted and left the bits you treasured most. Maybe nobody responded at all.
You want to just make things for yourself, and tell yourself it doesn't matter what people think; why should you lose your joy?
Most days we can do that. Some days we can't.
Anyway, I just wanted to write this to say that if you saw this and it's something you've felt too - I'm sorry. It's ok to mourn. Your creation is still for you, no matter what.

Harper Geraldus x Harper Bor (Boraldus/BorGer)
Snippet continues under the cut.
Geraldus wobbled, his cheeks in thorough bloom - almost glowing pink and right up to the tips of his ears. He gave Bor a big, encouraging smile, but his eyes were unfocused and filled with haze. He leant forward, holding up the clutch of daffodils in his grip, delighted.

- Spider Lilies (상사화) - Associated in Korean culture with farewells, separation, and lost love.
- A Performing Gisaeng (Art by Yudori) - Sold into the gisaeng (courtesan) trade as a girl, Boram sings and dances for countless patrons who have shelled out small fortunes to see her perform (on-stage or in the bedroom).
- Palanquin - How she is transported from Kara-Tur to Baldur's Gate, and how Rugan first encounters her in Caravan King.
- Yangdong Folk Village - A good representation of the small mountain village in which she spent her (short) childhood before she was sold.
- Boram as she appears in the BG3 CC (big thanks to @redroomroaving for helping with her tattoo!!)
- A Cage of Lotus and Tigers (artist unknown; closest I found was a twt handle yonggall?
I spent like an hour trying to find this artist pls help) - The tigers are Boram's Master and the lotuses her fellow courtesans. She wishes to escape but is hedged in. - Coltello d'Amore - A separation need not last forever; if one has the means and patience to take matters into their own hands.
- Peasant Child (Art by Mossa Cannibalis) - Looking innocent before swiping fish guts from a seafood stall; a hungry child will eat just about anything.
- Gumiho (Art by Srsartisthat) - A partial Fey ancestry she keeps hidden. People think she is a half-elf. She lets them.
