ENA's using the facade of sales tactics and chipper nonsense to distract herself from something big and painful, I think.
While I dislike the idea that negativity is inherently more truthful than positivity, ENA's outbursts are genuinely interesting, and deserve insight:

Fun? Freedom? Despite her demeanor, Sales ENA never mentions any of that. Meanie, however, explicitly freaks out at the prospect of being caught skipping work, and goes through the purge event insisting she has to get back to work, even as she clearly hates it. She's implied to be forcing herself to not enjoy things.
Sales looks happier, sure, but defaults to nonsensical business speak and... wha
god????
Seriously, though -- one has to wonder if "god" is a sort of authority to the genies, as Theodora almost cosmically forgives ENA, and talk of removing sin is all over the final bathroom level.
Is ENA clinging not just to business, but any hierarchical structure within which she knows her place? Just as the designation of "worker" seems to be a convenient label around which she's designed an identity, so too could she be attached to the whole "god" thing as part of her self-worth. Rather than seeking happiness (why can't she?), she covers up that existential anxiety with a false sense of satisfaction.
But -- and here's the kicker -- the Genie calls her out on this! Sales ENA explains the predicament of the smoke and Theodora just goes what are you on about dude, get out of my bathroom, also your fears betray your true goals, unpack THAT.
Not to mention that she shows the spatula dancer from the trailer (which "unforgiven" ENA was crawling towards) when mentioning those fears. I think this is a powerful technique called "foreshadowing for episode two".
In short, the most powerful entity around tells ENA that she's full of shit and she should know better than to spout business speak to hide from her anxieties.

Rambling about finding nemo in the tags below, if you can believe it this is the film i had to fight the internal kracauer about (he was right about a lot of things but i wanted to enjoy my time so)
#i find finding nemo nice but narratively unimpressive#it seems to be incredibly beloved across generations platforms et cet and I'm a little confused#i think the animation is really good for its time and the music is an understated gem#but. the story is maybe a 55/100 for me#i dunno man i just wanted it to do something new#and the way it flops between genuinely respecting the struggles of disability and making jokes out of metaphorical shark alcoholism and#*squints* children with braces?#doesnt feel good. but it was a 2003 pixar movie; theyre very much a product of the time and place#like the “ooooh its the bad future and everyones fat!!!” part of wall-e. and like. i like wall-e#and i like a lot of old pixar films#but I think there just comes a time when you get disenchanted with the familiar structures of popular filmmaking#like the third act breakup.#anyways i'll see yall in the morning when i'm not drinking jäger anymore#maybe that had something to do with it

Look just because YOU can't handle the colossal superstructure that governs the weather and our lives doesn't give you the right to speak poorly of seattle. It's not the superstructure's fault you don't appreciate it's indifferent but seemingly malevolent mechanisms that cause the fog of the weather and the mind. If you want to move out so badly you would've done so by now. If I hear you say "I forgot" like everyone else who says they want to move away I'm gonna blow a gasket.

shit ton of people are repeating the thing about hayao miyazaki saying AI art is an "insult to life itself" and just as a reminder he was talking about the zombies that team made that were intended to be scary in how much they shook, but instead reminded him of his disabled friend. the insult to life itself was referring to the team trying to make scary real symptoms that people live with.
it was a quote about ableism. if he has said other things about AI type stuff, that is a different thing. but that specific quote was about ableism.
