Anyways I think many things about the both of them quite honestly, they take up a good corner of my mind. I want to start off by saying I’m entirely biased to my interpretation of them so if I mischaracterize them at all I’m so sorry but I’m so lost in the sauce.
I’m entirely fascinated by the relationships between all the members of the miracle mask gang since they’ve absolutely been going through it for like their whole lives but at the same time pretty much stuck together. Henry and Alphonse stick out to me so much because they are utter opposites- they have gone through similar struggles and yet could not be more different from one another. It gets interesting during the plot of the game because there seems to be a development of mistrust between the two of them and because of their unspoken struggles a lot of interpersonal conflict drives them as opposing forces against each other. Of course this mistrust and disdain can be fixed if they just talked it out but since the stakes are so high at that point in the game it’s something that’s just implied to be fixed later. I guess the thing I enjoy thinking about the most is how they repair their relationship after they finally got their happy ending. It’s important to note that while they are now buddy buddy again it doesn’t stop the guilt of the genuine anger or spite they had for one another which could lead to a lot of awkward tension.
Anon I’ll be real with you. They are like bugs to me. I want to put them in the same terrarium together and study them to see what they would do. They absolutely fascinate me. Personally I like to humor the thought that they get closer with one another through the desire to reconnect again and I think it’s real sweet! I also live and breath the head canon that Henry is trans. Literally idgaf about the logistics because it’s just that dear to me-
But anyways I’ll stop my ramblings here because if you left me to my own devices I could make this response into a book real fast. I’m so serious if anyone ever has like head canons or anything for these guys please share them with me that’s my favorite side characters not to many people give a fuck about I’d die for them
