Glad you're enjoying the series! It is a lot of fun to write as well :D
hi friend!! how’s your day going? working on anything fun lately?
ello ello! The day is going ok :) hope you are doing well yourself
I've been working on a few fun stuff and some patr3on side. i have so much exciting wips but i have to wait till i feel 100% cuz forcing just make my art look crap lol
I can show my fairly old WIP that i had lying around on my patr3on
Fire Emblem Three Houses has become a major obsession and has gotten me two amazing friends, one of which became a best friend. Even almost 5 years later for me, this is still a major thing in my life. There's so much to sink my teeth into with it and I just.. love it. So. Much! It's gotten me through some of the worst years in my adulthood!
Ah I am so happy for you, anon!! <3 glad you made it through hardship in life to get yourself there :)
the main thing on my mind is lino printing rn. i got some stuff to give it a go because i think lino fanart would be fun but i only did it once when i was in sixth form so im a little bit at a loss of how to switch up my art style to make it Work aha 😅
i feel like i knew on some level that art styles are tailored to the medium(s) the artist works in but this is really making it hit home. but i must try anyway!! i always find it so neat seeing fanart in non-standard art mediums, yknow? itd be so so cool to see more variety.
yknow what? since im here, question: if there was one medium youd like to see more/any fanart in, what would it be?
ooo, I use to do Lino printing back in sixth form aswell, it was fun, and remember well how i slit my finger with the lino cutter haha woopps.. but it is cool seeing artists out there doing traditional work from unique ways. So defo go after it and experiment. I'm sure you'll find a style that works for it. :D
medium that i wish to see more is probably the alternative copic markers brand. what I mean by that is that I have cheaper brands than Copics and affordable to get (promarkers), and they colour nice and still have that lying around in my art supply box. I might revisit my sketchbook one day
I have a lot on my mind actually, mostly it's about work and the two college courses I'm taking. I have delusions of grandure thinking I can juggle it all. While a completely different part of my brain is trying to corral the horrendously fast multiplying plot bunnies running a mock and causing chaos. Cue the Zebra from Madagascar in his clown outfit clip being played on repeat.
Oh goodness, it sounds like you have a lot going on. Remember to take one step at a time. I heard that multitasking is an illusion.
