HELLO APPARRENTLY THIS BLOG HAS BEEN BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD. Literally 22 days after deletion, Tumblr support has finally reinstated this blog and removed the shadowban on my main.
That being said, this blog has permanently moved to @sailorsoons. All my work has been reposted/is still being reposted there, as waiting 20+ days wasn't going to work for me.
Happy this blog has been brought back, but sad to give it up intentionally now! Pease follow my new blog and enjoy all my original and upcoming work there.

Oh it's absolutely an issue. It happens in other fandom spaces I'm in too and it drives me absolutely insane. I know it's a mixture of people not really considering that they're breaking the search function with tagging improperly, but also people who just do not care and continue to abuse the system

GENUINELY IT ISN'T FAIR. Like the entire premise of Tumblr relies on the correct use of tags, and purposefully abusing the system and tagging all members on your fic breaks the system. It literally is purposely not using it correctly and it drives me insane. It's also incredibly frustrating for people trying to find content for members who don't have a lot.

CORRECT RESPONSE. I never use general tags for my fics for this reason - I think people forget that a general member tag puts fics in the gif space too - I will say I am WAY more forgiving on that because at least it's the right member tag but genuinely the purpose of tagging is for correct search function and if you fuck up everyone's searching because you want more eyes on your stuff, you are RUDE!!!
