I really ought to write this bit but yeah. Hershel essentially being like. Not quite little sibling petulant but genuinely hurt and confused. Calling Des a hypocrite because he did the same (in his mind) thing but worse
Hershel isn’t hurting anyone. He hasn’t killed anyone. All he’s done is create a true utopia and rid the city of all its corruption. And who cares how he got there, right? A little weeding out of the bad is necessary.
And des is like. Yep absolutely not the same. It’s grief just the same that’s driving this madness. You pulled me out so I’m putting out my hand to pull you up here and snap you back because don’t you see what you’re doing? Look at this from a logical place. Use that brain and just listen to me. You might not be hurting people physically but do you really think it’s best to have it like this? Everyone fears you. Is it really the best to have everyone right here if they don’t even have the option to leave you?
And Hershel is absolutely not receptive at all
