This reply deserves to be in its own reblog lmao

I own a shirt that says exactly what the comment above says. And you would not -believe- the number of truly awkward interactions I've had that start with someone saying "so what's the second type?"

I just find it very funny that some fans see Law as this dominant daddy alpha male when really he is an awkward nerd who tends to overthink and has a dysfunctional sleep schedule.

Same with Luffy ! He literally is just a silly little guy who is really powerful and who liberates oppressed countries here and there while looking for the One Piece. He is no submissive femboy XD

One thing i find really interesting is that at one point it was said that Zoan type divil fruits influence their users, wich would put more reason behind why luffy seems to liberate entire countrys for something as simple as a single bowl of rice. His devil fruit literally makes him a god, and a common offering for gods is food, so when people give him food and tell him about their problems he automatically wants to help them since they technically made an offering

Okay so I think I understand now why Oda made it so devil fruit users weakness was water its so gear 5 Luffy couldn't pull the plug and destroy the whole world

highly recommend keeping a small portrait of a historical figure who met a grisly end on your work desk. for perspective.

me: oh thomas cromwell, we're really in it now. every day i get emails.

the postcard of thomas cromwell i keep on my desk: i was on committees with the duke of norfolk. and they beheaded me.

me: yep. good point.

me: cromwell. cromwell this post has got too big and famous and people are starting to misunderstand me on it.

the postcard of thomas cromwell i keep on my desk: oh no! you achieved too much fame and status? and now people are misrepresenting you? should we strip your lands and title? have you been beheaded?

me: YES ALRIGHT FINE
