summary: how the boys support you through disordered eating.
warnings: disordered eating, body insecurity, mentions of food, hurt and comfort.
notes: disordered eating looks different from person to person, and so I've tried to keep these headcanons as general as possible while also drawing from personal experiences. please heed the warnings, and take care of yourselves ๐
- theyโre too perceptive for their own goodโmaybe you keep declining food, have lied one too many times that youโve already eaten or arenโt hungryโbut they get a suspicion about your habits before you open up to them about it.
โyou feeling alright?โ jake frowns at your plate, still mostly full even though heโs finishing up. you shrug, trying to appear nonchalant.
โstill full from breakfast, I guess.โ
marc is quick to chime in. โshe barely ate anything this morning.โ
jake hums, chewing slowly to give them some time to think. they donโt tend to hide their internal conversations from you, though to be frankโthey donโt know how to bring it up. theyโve never had to deal with something like this before.
the worry tightens in their chest, but no one has any suggestions. you swallow uneasily, and he pretends to not notice you squirming in your seat. whatever it is, now is clearly not the time to talk about it.
so instead, jake just smiles kindly at you, nodding. โokay, then.โ
