We are heartbroken to announce that the #SaveDaredevil campaign has lost one of our dearest friends this week. @dichotomystudios (also known as Van/nhlrox on Twitter) - a founding member of our team and a driving force behind our fight - passed away on Tuesday.
Van was a lifelong Daredevil fan and an absolute wealth of knowledge on comics in general, an ardent supporter of all creative arts, and a friend to many across the fandom. If you've interacted at all with the campaign on Twitter or via e-mail, you've probably chatted with Van.
Her presence on our team will be irreplaceable, and as her friends, we will continue to deeply feel her loss in so many little ways. And we know those of you who have followed us from the beginning will miss her too.
If you have any interest in doing something in Van's honor today (or any day), we have some suggestions:
Make a donation to Hero Initiative or Organization for Transformative Works in her name, two nonprofits we thought reflected her passion for supporting comics creators and fanworks.
Or just go and rewatch an episode of Daredevil, read a comic, leave a thoughtful comment on someone's fic, or share a piece of fanart that you love (making sure to credit the artist). We think Van would love that, too. Thank you for reading ❤️
For anyone who still has questions about yesterday’s major news item regarding the Defenders shows leaving Netflix on March 1st, we did a #TalkDaredevil livestream on the #SaveDaredevil YouTube channel breaking down the whole situation. We hope any fans who still have concerns will find it a helpful listen!

✅ Creating a buffer zone for spoilers for at least 3 days after an appearance
✅ Adding #DDSpoilers to any spoilery content - please mute the tag on all platforms!
✅On Tumblr, placing spoiler warning at the top of the post and the content of the spoiler below a "read more" cut.
✅ On IG, including spoiler warning in captions and a blurred-out slide in the image carousel
✅ Not reposting direct spoilers in IG stories unless it’s been stickered over / blocked out
✅ On Facebook, placing spoiler warning at the top of the post and the text of the spoiler several lines down to avoid it being displayed automatically
We hope this strikes a balance between the Daredevil fans who want us to discuss anything new ASAP and those who need some time to catch up. Remember that no method is perfect except for avoiding social media altogether. So please tread carefully online!

What an incredible few days it’s been for this campaign. Kevin Feige confirming Charlie Cox as Daredevil in the MCU has been as massively thrilling for us at #SaveDaredevil as it has been for you! We're so grateful for the thoughtful messages, posts, and DMs - it means a lot to know our hard work these past 3 years hasn’t gone unnoticed.
And that work continues! While this confirmation is HUGE and we’ll all continue to celebrate, our primary goal remains to see Daredevil return as a mature solo series with its original cast. I know I’m super late to the party on this one but in my defense I’m barely keeping my mental health together these days and I’m already juggling multiple events.
I am surprised that I made this drawing incredibly... okay, considering it was a huge challenge and it only took me a couple hours split over two days to do, usually when drawings don’t take me forever it’s not a good sign, but this drawing challenge from @savedaredevil was fun and I had a lot of fun figuring things out because I am ALWAYS trying to figure out my drawing style.
