Rolan's thunderwave origins ♡

You know, I have my own sweet, delusional theory about why Rolan is so boastful about his Thunderwave.

I like to imagine it was one of the first spells he ever learned - after all, it's just a first-level spell. And the reason was simple: when they were little, Cal and Lia were scared of stormy, thunderous nights. So their big brother learned Thunderwave to show them there was nothing to fear, that tieflings could command the very forces of nature. His siblings felt reassured, and from that moment on, Rolan took pride in his Thunderwave.

If he could summon a fire kitten at that time, why not thunderwave?

Anyway, it's just another silly headcanon of mine. ♡

What the- who am I? I actually did a background for once lol. AND A FULL BODY DRAWING? (Even though I cheated with the dress lol) I’m moving on up in the art world, I’m getting brave.

Also I didn’t put a whole lot of meaning behind this, other than maybe idk… just insecurity? Being too close to a picture to see the grand beauty of it? It’s mostly just a fun drawing but that was kind of the general idea.

Well shit, I've never had to do this before but here we go!

Anon who sent a really mean message about creators in the BG3 community - we don't do that over here.

Everyone in this community is talented, and have stories/art/etc that matter. The last thing we need is negative bullshit that is discouraging.

I love how you have no doubts in her. And yes, she 10000% tried. Not just once.

At first Gortash was angry and they fought (nothing new, through, for someone two sizes smaller Gortash was too eager to fight physically), but in fact it was partly his fault. Like he wanted to check her fangs and did that through pulling his fingers into mouth of... well... Glassred.

In fact as their relationship progressed from "fucking brute/breakfast" to "fucking brute/breakfast (affectionate)" Gortash started to treat attempts to eat him much more calmly. Partly because he knew Glassred won't do it soon. Glass values him and his devouring must be perfect and so it won't happen anytime soon. So he will still slap her for biting him, but it will be just a slap, not a fucking crossbow in her face.

But yes, she chewed his fingers. At least 3 times.

And thank you for ask!! Really, I appreciate it + it was funny to answer

#my confession is that sometimes when i get obsessed with a character i tend to adopt some of their qualities to an extent#this goes for rolan#i talk to myself a lot and sometimes i catch myself use his way of speaking for no reason#the lisp and everything#and when i catch myself i get embarrassed and start talking in a completely different accent to cover the fact that i was talking like him#and then i sit in silent defeat even though nobody heard me or understood what i was doing#sometimes i mimic his gestures and expressions without even realising i am doing it and it mortifies me#that is my confession. I never thought i'd admit it but here i feel safe to do so
