Some folks think snakes only cuddle us for our warmth

But those people seem to forget how much snakes love cuddling each other too!

And snakes are cold blooded animals. No body heat.

Oh I have seen their rings but I didn't know they had earrings! Thank you for sharing. :3 Some day I want to get one of their rings, but I'm not sure if I want the spinny one or the other kind. Earrings to go with them would be cute! I know one of my friends has a silver ring, and Emily on SnakeDiscovery has one of the rings too. I'll either get it when I get a career improvement or someone special buys it for me- whichever comes first. ^_^ (If Coppertist sends me one then we will be legally married. I don't know anything about Ryan Wu, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They're also an artist who also likes snakes and spiders so as long as they aren't already married things are looking good. If they are married, their significant other will probably commit homicide. One of many snakes I see and wish I could meet. Have a chat. Ask them their thoughts about the world. The things that bring them happiness. What they dream about.

She's a bit confused, but she's got the spirit!

Normal snakes will just grab it, fancy snakes will do... Whatever behind the head maneuver this is.

Also she's incredibly strong! She weighs less than 80 ounces, but she is able to forcibly pull my hand, and I'm clearly several hundred TIMES her size. Imagine how powerful she'd be at our scale! (If everything scaled.)

My little Persian is being so sweet today. She is still very young but has won ribbons at two local cat shows and we'll be going to nationals next week!

Not only is she a natural beauty, but she's been doing amazing at her training and performance routine. I think she has fun meeting the other cats! She's always so curious, and sometimes shy- but as long as I'm with her she knows she'll be safe.

She's getting extra cat treats tonight, just because she's so wonderful. And her sister too. Just the best little kitties ever!

Oh my goodness those two are adorable! Your Mooch has such cute eyes. I've been trying different foods but my... I think it might be a black mamba? I've been doing some research and normal variants of snakes have started growing winter coats when kept in cooler climates - something to do with something in their ancestry DNA being reactivated.

Some have been been reported keeping their furry coats once they reach adolescence. I wonder if something triggered this, or it has always been a mutation of some sort that is rare?

Apologies if I got any information wrong, I'm just now finding out about this myself.

As for feeding, I'm not sure if the cooler temps are causing a sort of partial brumation. You could try leaving salmon or a pinkie in a cardboard tube overnight on the cool side.
