Hoenn on the brain
somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.
and so I will eat this small block of fancy cheese, for morale. I will take a break and drink some tea, for morale. I will pick up that weird bug, for morale.
I'm not sure if it helps, but it does entertain me
We often eat pie at work...for morale.
"As a treat" implies a special occasion, a temporary state. "For morale" makes the joy essential, because you have to have good morale to keep going.
yeah the bone arm scene is sex yeah the lyctoral process is marrige vows yeah Gideon kissed Harrow on the forehead in the pool etc etc. we as a society need to pay more attention to the cumshot in HtN chapter 4
"blood sprayed promiscuously against your face" "a hot, salty thickness against your lips" "the world rocked" "your meat was left bare and vulnerable" "a hot, shameless gush of it" "your nerves screaming and shaking" like. OKAY
โYour eyes rolled back in your head in an ecstasy of sufferingโ is one of those clues that necromancers are Not Okay. Their body is so irradiated with Death Energy and so weak that they have the kind of bizarre relationship with pain that some of us with chronic health problems have, but in some ways weirder because to necros their health condition is tied to power both physical and social.
