Fun fact: James is very tactile and loves touching, yes, but because of this, a kiss on the cheek or holding hands is a normal thing for him and is not something special. But verbal pick-ups/compliments, especially sudden and especially from a lover, immediately have the desired effect and turn him into a confused puddle, not understanding how to react
