This has put a huge smile on my face today! My Kat and @shinyredgloss's Niamh with Shadowheart after the House of Grief. It's still a long way away on our actual playthrough but we knew we wanted this scene commemorated with both of us. Gale's act 1 romance is just so good. The more I think about Gale the more I like it. It shows off so many parts of his character - how integral magic is to him, his love of teaching, his smugness, his appreciation for your friendship... But also his vulnerability. Before you picture something more - he looks pleased. Happy to share a moment with you as friends. (During the party he even expresses hoping that he can consider you a true friend. A self-professed rarity for him.)
At the same time he's making this face though, he moves closer to you. Whether he would acknowledge it or not, Gale clearly does seek out that intimacy.

Throughout her daily life and in camp on her adventures, Evelyn prefers to wear warm earth tones - especially greens, her favorite color. These colors have always brought her peace, much like the outdoors and nature always have.
However, when in battle Evelyn is ruthless, lethal and calculating - especially with Astarion by her side bringing out those traits in her - and wearing black is symbolic of this. Donning black solely in battle keeps her in that mindset and reminds her of not only the storm sorcery she draws her powerful lightning from but also the stakes at hand if she is not at her most brutal against her enemies.
