i don’t think it’s weird that the innies didn’t have a big moment of marveling at eating dinner or sleeping for the first time on ORTBO. like i think that even though those were technical firsts for them, they like … passively know and understand those functions because their subconscious (outtie) does them routinely. they understand outside even though they’ve never been there, they understand snow and running water and trees and different kinds of animals. do yall think an innie freaks out at using the bathroom for the first time or drinking a glass of water? it’s the same thing

i don’t like people saying that irving died to save helly ……. bc ya that’s true and that’s heartbreaking . but it undersells the fact that he died to save all his friends ): he had to expose the mole to protect the others too and mark s’s plans to rescue miss casey ):

returning here to say that i think the theory that helly is helena actually in the s2 premiere of severance is stupid. helly lied about what she did on the outside because she is ashamed. she emphasized that innies and outies are different because she’s having an identity crisis and wants to be separate from her evil outie. she doesn’t want to leave (cease to exist) because all that’s out there for her is her evil outie life. like why is this theory that she’s helena undercover so popular!!!!
