Nintendo for years: our niche in the video game and console market has been lower power systems marketed at kids! These systems are usually less expensive than our competitors as a result.
Nintendo now: the switch 2 is the same cost as a PS5

seeing ppl defend the switch 2 game prices is making me feel insane $70 standard is already fucking unacceptable, charging $80 for a game just cause it's the killer app and they can get away with it is "we need to start hitting ppl with sticks" behavior

that being said I'm a little annoyed wind waker never got a switch port; it's my favourite Zelda and possibly favourite game of all time, and I know a lot more people would love it too if it weren't exclusive to Nintendo's two worst selling consoles

in a tragic turn of events, wind waker will be available on switch 2 but because they're charging 80 fucking dollars for mario kart I have no choice but to pray for this console's downfall as well
