Once again setting out to do Mer-May this year…once again doubtful that I’ll keep up.

Though I am thinking of doing my own version of it. Still mermaids but like…specifically mermaids from folklore and myth. Idk I think going from a Hans Christian Anderson Little Mermaid to a kill-you kelpie would be funny.

Bi-annual Pokémon obsession just dropped again, and this time it’s for TCGP. Anyway look at my pride and joy:

I made a whole deck for her and it’s called “Ms. Girl” and she wins all the time. (she does not. I am not good at TCGP)

He only JUST figured out how to deal with one baby. Throw another kid into the mix and his brain scrambles.

I am such a baby when it comes to starting new media by myself. I don’t know how it happened or why, but unless someone goes “hey let’s watch this” I have such a hard time starting ANYTHING and I canNOT comprehend why???

The way I hated being a student and taking notes for lectures and reading but now I love taking notes since I’ve graduated

I love using my scented pens, my stamps, and drawing little diagrams when writing about my finances and my fish

Oh how I love the duality of a man

Who else in the class struggles with making OCs and universes for them but not being able to create an actual STORY to put them in?

Its been the thorn in my side since middle school and I am not able to fix it

So, fun fact, my newest characters I've been drawing, specifically Eirny and Carwdel (Who were Vinum and Revati), were based on the idea of "Princess in castle, but what if the princess was vengeful and was chill with the dragon sent to guard her?" But I scraped it bc I thought it was too plain and did something else with the characters.

But I was still attached to the "Princess and the dragon" trope bc it's what inspired Eirny and I think I found a way to bring it back-

The dragon...is her daughter

And I thought it'd be cute if her dragon daughter, who's name is Asta, used her mom's cape as a little hoard/hidey-hole while she's still a baby.

I was playing around with giving my guy Carwdel (previously Revati) a friend who’s also a first time parent and I was looking at her and I went: “…She looks lonely…where is her husband?”

And I ended up with this guy:

And then I proceeded to fill like four pages of my sketchbook with these two because what if they were all friends!!?!

So now Carwdel has two friends who adopted him and his daughter into their little family because he’s kind of pathetic

The way I've been parading my little fantasy/Asterism OCs around without EVER explaining their deal, their lore, their anything...that's so silly of me.

And I really like the magic system I made for their universe too, and I haven't explained any of it?
