Sleepy and happy

Welcome to my humble garden of craziness / She/her 23

on one hand I have no idea where it would go and am not willing to commit without at least an end-goal. on the other hand I'm re-reading @canonical-transformation's untitled shenhe game and the line "it is a beautiful day in Mondstadt, and you are an adorable Klee" won't leave my head

I was going to protest that I still didn't have an end goal, but then I had a realization, so fine. On your heads be it.

---

It is a beautiful day in Mondstadt, and you are an adorable Klee.

(All Klees are adorable, but Mom says you're the adorablest. And Mom is always right about everything.)

Right now you're in solitary confinement, because there was an accident with one of your bombs, and even though you said you were sorry, Timmie got really really mad. But while Jean can be dreadful, you're sure she wouldn't have put you in solitary if she knew what a beautiful day it would be! Besides, you did say sorry, and you really really really want to go:

That's right, you wanted to go to Dragonspine to visit Albedo! It's been a whole week since you saw him, and he didn't say you couldn't come....

But first, you have to get out of solitary without getting in trouble. Jean isn't here today, so you'll probably be fine as long as Wood and Wyratt don't catch you mid-escape. You have a few new bombs you've designed while you were stuck in here, and a few options for getting out.

Lucky for you, Jean never locks the door to solitary. It would be a fire hazard! So Wood is supposed to keep you inside himself. But he never actually looks backward at the door, so if you pull it open very very quietly, and step out very very carefully, and sneak past behind him very very sneakily, on tip-toe... then you just have to get past Wyratt.

It's very, very hard to get past Wyratt, because he's looking right at where you need to go. But if you crouch very very small-

"Klee! Where do you think you're going?"

Uh-oh.

You're in such a hurry to get out the door that you don't have time to prime the (little!) bomb you drop when you dodge him, but it distracts him anyway. He's still yelling about "getting clear" when you get clear, right out the front door! But now all the other guards are looking at you...

You zoom around the side of the Ordo and up the steps before Wyratt can get out to stop you. Into the bushes before Aramis can either, and then scramble up the wall like Razor's showed you, then under the buttresses to the graveyard.

You don't go in the graveyard. What if there's ghosts? Kaeya has told you scary stories about ghosts. No, you want the narrow little space between the back of the Cathedral and the graveyard fence, where no one ever looks because no one ever goes.

"What are you up to?" Rosaria asks, blowing out a plume of smoke.

"Huh," Rosaria says. "You've been up to Dragonspine alone before, right? And you're armed?"

You show her the (big!) bomb you built in solitary. And you always have Jumpy Dumpty, of course!

"And you've got your glider. You're good." She squishes her cigarette on the wall. "If you jump off that wall past the graveyard, there's a boat down there that nobody's sitting in right now. Go ahead and take it. They're not going to need it after we meet up."

Rosaria’s scary, but sometimes she's really really nice! You give her a hug. She pretends she doesn't like hugs, but you know better.

"Quit it. Get going, they'll be here soon."

You circle around the graveyard, being really really careful of ghosts, and climb up the wall and jump off. You see the boat right away! It is empty. It's also really big. You've never rowed one this big before....

foreshadowing done well makes me go feral like there’s NOTHING better than getting to the end a book or an important storyline moment and realising that the author laced information so intricately into their writing that weren’t noticeable upon first read but when you read back sections they’re light giant red flags like wow writing is amazing

the best stories contain two stories: the one you read the first time, and the one you read every time after that

sorry for those who are waiting for the magical girl au

I’ve been kinda busy recently and will be in the future so I’m having a hard time working on it

I still have some idea and still developing the lore slowly but I can’t promise that the appearance of the other magical girls would appear soon

however if you’re missing it here some things I’ve already done (the design of leona is NOT finished it’s NOT the final design

Citlali is so funny all the time. literally my bff

The images don’t convey it but the way her VA delivered this line is great. Thank you Citlali for volunteering educate the designated baby of the group. no one is doing it like her

Sincerely wondering how the heck did Jade even invite this group of people for the Coral Sea event....or why🤔

Basically Malleus is the easiest. Just give him an invite and you'll be his favourite person for the rest of the event. Rook is also quite easy, just mention it's a wedding and he'll go on a rant, something something "Chasseur d'Amour" and "BEAUTÉ!"

As for Riddle...

A) Malleus was told to bring a plus one, so he chose Riddle (he did mention Riddle in his birthday interview, the question about being stranded on a deserted island);

B) Riddle doesn't trust Jade and came along to keep an eye on the group;

C) They kidnapped Riddle;

D) Jade invited Riddle as a way to spite Floyd;

E) The wedding venue is falling apart, so Jade invited Riddle to organize the event (Heartslabyul does Unbirthday Parties on the regular, he can handle it).

Though I can't wait to see if we'll find out more about the Leech Mafia. Maybe Jade only brought Riddle and the others were invited, since they come from influential families. Or we'll get another fight at a wedding...

Also Jade did mention that he has a family of five "for now", in the Harveston event...
