me: loves exploring the psychological aspect of age regression with fictional characters, coming to terms with this vulnerable side of themselves and coping with unresolved trauma

friends asked me to draw a bee with a binky here you guys can have it too
bee wants their binky
don't worry she's ok
big fan of collecting small little trinkets (with no inherent use other than to make the heart glow a little softer)
when i say i'm a well spoken little (because i don't do baby speak, i always type formal even when small) this is how i want you all to imagine me
the wicked agere tag has so much Glinda ..I raise you all.
you get me <3<3
Nonono this is actually a super important addition to the convo and we need to talk about it I swear agere headcannons are always focused on skinny, white, (and especially attractive) characters.
Using this fandom, my Agere Glinda moodboard got way more popular, way faster than the Agere Elphie one, even though I posted them on the same day!!!
The Arcane fandom is also like this, while I was there pushing Agere Jinx when she was really the only one being headcannoned as such, later the fandom has pushed to include Viktor, Cait (who's half-white), Vi (who's buff but she's also short and a lot of her clothes cover her body), Maddie, and that blue fish twink but so rarely anyone else. You get the occasional perhaps Ekko (the only black guy in all of season 1), but nobody ever talks about Mel (like at all, even as a cg), or Jayce, or maybe even Silco or Vander.
Also, the Batman fandom tends to be chill and welcoming to different body types and the white-passing pale twink Romani character, but not to Duke (black guy) or Damian (arabic boy) or Cass (aisian girl who could SO EASILY be headcannoned as agere because LOOK AT HER)
Also it's never Batman's Rouges like Two Face, or Riddler or Killer Crock because they're what? Ugly? Mentally Ill? Poor? (Yes I see the classism gonna get into that)
Also Hazbin Hotel, everyone wants to say Angel Dust, and Sir Penn, and Nifty, and Charlie, and Vaggie, and Alistor are agere but nobody mentions Husk or Velvette or Carmilla or Adam.
Same with Helluva Boss where everyone can be little except Millie, who's a strong woman who grew up in an underprivileged family and has anger issues
I'm just tired of it.
Also from a story perspective the idea of Elphaba being a caregiver is kinda… like she’s basically been treated as nothing but Nessa’s caretaker her whole life I think it nicer if she gets to be taken care of for once
As a person of colour this is honestly very telling,
BIPOC characters as often seen as more “adult” or “grown” than their counterparts
Elphie being constantly characterized as a caregiver/mama/mommy etc shows this very well.
there’s barely any use of little!elphaba (besides me and a mutual). However Cg!Elphaba is quite a big tag in wicked agere, and so is Little!Glinda
but cg!glinda or little!elphaba…not so much
and Glinda being the token “baby girl” of this fandoms agere is really disheartening. This fandom put her and fiyero in the spotlight and pushed Elphie to the side as a caregiver.
as prev mentioned Elphie has been NessaRoses Caretaker for most of her life, but she should have a chance to be cared for!
these are simply problems in fandom agere circles that should be addressed
