Yesterday at the foster clinic there was a woman with a litter of tiny, tiny kittens, one of whom was a beautiful orange and white creamsicle.  I told her, “I love orange boy cats, they are all so stupid.” and the foster mom said to me, with tears of love in her eyes, face glowing with maternal pride, “He is only 6 days old and I can already tell that he’s going to be so stupid!”

The fact that it’s illegal to be gay in 75 countries and that homosexuality is punishable by death in 10 countries and you can be refused service because of your homosexuality and you still can’t get gay married everywhere people still have the audacity to talk about straight pride as if straight people face any of the same kind of discrimination that LGBT people do just makes me SO ANGRY 

This post was originally written about ace people so firstly… That. Also straights do belong at pride - parents, brothers, sisters. Partners of bi, pan, and trans people. Those who are not out yet or are questioning but still publicly ID as straight. Literally fucking anyone that wants to support the queer community

ok i didnt mention ace people so firstly... that. also no actually im talking about people who think straight pride is a thing. i definitely think anyone can and should celebrate the lgbt community, however i dont think heterosexual pride is worth celebrating.
