Ok so in case anyone is confused about the last part because not everyone knows every detail about ddlc obviously 😅

During Act 3 (when you're alone with Monika), one of her discussion topics is her talking about what she experiences when you quit the game, which is what I directly quoted in the comic. She also brings it up every time you close and open the game up again.

First, she just tells you how horrible the experience is calling it a "bad dream" where it feels like she's been killed. She asks you if you could stop whatever is causing that (shes not entirely sure what it is yet.) Even though doing so doesn't actually hurt her "aside from some mental scarring".

She brings it up the first four times you open the game back up and asks you if you could stop doing that. But the fourth time, she eventually gives up and accepts the fact that you will have to leave the game sometimes and apologizes for "making a big deal out of it." She says she's getting used to it, and she can handle it because she believes you will always come back and put an end to her torment. She tells you that she'll "love you no matter what, so just do what you need to do."

So Leo's keeping the game open so she doesn't experience that. :)

And Leo is a logical person. He obviously knows that it's not real, but he just feels the need to do it anyway...

Sorry if this is an overexplanation. I just figured most of you are rise fans and not ddlc fans and may not know what's going on cuz the comic doesn't explain it that much.
