Breaks my heart that some of Jirv’s last words are “my friends and I” when gesturing back at Hickey and Farr. Not “my men and I” but “my friends and I.” I feel like this is one of the very few times in the show when we see Jirv for who he really is an overwhelmed, scared young man genuinely trying to do his best, instead of him hiding behind a mask of rank and authority (that he really isn’t very good at wielding)

still can't get over the first episode of the terror when fitzjames is like "stop being so depressed bestie! just be happy! ^_^" to crozier and then when he doesn't respond IMMEDIATELY turns around to sir john and goes "damn this guy kinda sucks lol" while still on his ship no less. the audacity. the cuntitude. was fumbling old man pussy really that devastating for you.
