I like watching gaming streams mainly for background noise and study aids, but also because they're the only way I'm ever going to actually learn about a game at this point.

I'm not much of a gamer- like the only thing I'll play nowadays is some Fortnite with the cousins or Minecraft when the yearly craving hits- now I half-know the plot of a Legend of Zelda game finally.

Favorite moments from playing Smash Bros. with my bestie:

  • Always happens, both of us struggling to set up the Switch for two-player mode (neither of us have one, but campus has a game room)
  • "PK FIRE! PK FIRE! PK FIRE-" "CAN YOU JUST LET ME WIN ONE TIME-"
  • Her summoning the eldritch Pokemon gods to strike me down
  • One of our main goals is to get the Shadow the Hedgehog assist trophy because he's my boi
  • Me immediately falling off the stage once we DO get Shadow because I'm too busy fangirling
  • Both us screaming happily because one of us got Alucard or Waluigi
  • Me struggling to figure out how to use Madam Butterfly while playing as Bayonetta
  • Finally figuring it out- "WHOAAAAAAA-" "QUICK DO IT AGAIN-" "I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID, BEE-"
  • Both of us screaming in terror as one of us got The Moon as an assist trophy (I HATE that thing.)

I made a Mage Bunkshelf’s Mitch sweater

I started it a while ago but I had to wait for some yarn to restock. This had a lot of firsts. It’s my first Sweater (my hubris didn’t allow me to use a pattern, I just made one up as I went), it’s my first tapestry/intarsia crochet, I also learned how to crochet with my left hand, alternating right and left between rows to always be working from the front, and I learned how to knit for the ribbing. Sadly it’s getting to warm to wear it now, but it’s going to see a lot of use when it gets colder again.

seriously though if you haven't played Portal or Portal 2 (sorry if I've now spoiled the puzzles!) those are two games I think everyone should play at some point! they both go on sale very very cheap very often!
