I love your art! When you first started drawing digitally, did you use an iPad? I've never done digital art before but I'm very interested in starting with an iPad air. Any thoughts? Tips? Tricks? I'm also open to other more affordable drawing display tablets. :) tysm

Thanks for such nice words and for the interesting question! 💖

I've been drawing all my life but first got an iPad when I was 18, I started drawing in a few simple drawing apps until I bought Procreate. I really like drawing in digital, I personally find it very comfortable to draw in it to this day, so I certainly recommend giving it a try!

I tried drawing with styluses but when I ran away from home I was going through a hard time with depression and post-trauma, I only had money for a transport to and from university, so I could no longer buy a new stylus after the old one broke, so I started drawing on a tablet… with my fingers. And you know what? I realized it was something I could get used to. I didn't stop drawing because it really saved me, I did it every day.

I'm not strong on advice, but I recommend trying to draw more often (if you have the energy and time!), because it really builds up your skills. And also try something new, for example, try as many brushes as possible (some I edited for my own preferences).

About the drawing tablet, I want to say that it depends on your preference, because I also have a graphics tablet, but personally I am not as comfortable with it as I am with the iPad, because I have to draw while looking at the computer screen and not at the drawing tablet. I'm not used to it yet, but I want to keep trying. I think based on my experience drawing with my fingers on a tablet, you can get used to anything, haha. 👍

I hope I've helped you at least a little with that! I'm very unsure as I do everything unprofessionally, I just really love drawing every day of my life. But I highly recommend trying your hand at digital, can't wait to see your first works in this format. If you really want it, give it a try! ✨
