hey man idk if u have already answered this (its not on the faq so idk) but where do you get your transparent heads? do you edit them yourself or are they somewhere floating online? if you /do/ edit them yourself would you consider posting them in a masterpost or smth?? thank you in advance 💖💖
Hi, anon! Unfortunately, I have to do it the old-fashioned way by finding images of them where I can get them and erasing any background surrounding it in photoshop. Thanks to the simplicity of the art style, if I find one expression I can usually transplant onto other characters, but it is mostly a manual effort, which is why I tend to favor certain characters in videos - I already have their heads prepared.
I wouldn’t mind putting them in a masterpost one of these days but just be warned it is very… incomplete lol.
Question: what editor do you use, and how much is it? I want to make some content on my own but I don't really have much cash ^^'
Hi, anon! Normally I just direct people to the FAQ on this question, but since you wanted a bit more detail, I’ll answer it in earnest.
The editor I use is Corel Videostudio X9. I usually see it go for around $30. If that’s still too much for you, then Shotcut is a free program that’s great for getting your feet wet in this type of editing! The videos will not be as high quality, I’ll be honest with you, but if you’re not sure you want to commit $30 to video editing, then it’s a good way to figure out if you enjoy the process.

So it’s been a few days since I’ve managed to upload a video, and I just wanted to assure you all I’m still around! Unfortunately, it may be a few days more before I put something out.
For the past couple of weeks I’ve been dealing with a family crisis, and because of that I’ve ended up behind on my schoolwork and now that I am finally in the presence of mind to do it, I’ve been scrambling to catch up! I didn’t want say anything and worry someone if it wasn’t adversely affecting my production output, but unfortunately now it looks like it is. After this week, my stress concerning schoolwork should be at least manageable, so I hope to get some posts up for all of you soon!
When I get my time back away from the college demons, I’ll be focusing on fulfilling requests! To all of you that sent one in and are still waiting: thank you so much for you patience!
