But this one is yours! Everyone’s “key” can only open their own “bubble” so you won’t be intruded upon.

And don’t worry, wifi and all other forms of internet connection work within the bubbles so you can use electronic devices and you won’t miss any calls or texts!

They’re one of the very first things that got me invested in biology on this planet as a whole!

I PARTICULARLY find the following interesting and/or aesthetically pleasing:

Pixie’s Parasol: Exactly what it sounds like- they look like teensy tiny fairy umbrellas ^^
Violet Coral: It looks like coral, but it lies! Tis in reality a fungus!
Fly Agaric: the classic red domed mushroom with cute white polkadots ✨
GIANT PUFFBALL: big ball of nothing but s h r o o m
+ Any and all bioluminescent ‘shrooms! They’re so cool! Bioluminescence is lit, even :]

Tysm for the ask! It took a moment for me to formulate my response purely because I had a whole trip trying to narrow down just a few mushrooms to list ^^💧

Some facts I learned today:

  • Fungi are the reason why the trees in the forests can "talk" with each other
  • Mammals evolved perfectly to be resistant to certain funghi. Most deadly/not healthy fungi can't invade our bodies due to our temperature (if mammals don't sleep during winter that is & turn down their body heat - there is a fungi which can kill bats because of that!)
  • Fungi are detrimental to life
  • Fungi were the reason plants could spread from water to the lands
