Simon ~ 30s ~ any pronouns

nonbinary, bi, autistic, mentally and chronically ill, from central Europe

I mostly post about mental health, feminism (trans-inclusive, intersectional, and critical of the sex-industry) and LGBTQ+ activism. I am an advocate for patient rights and respectful gender-neutral language in medicine. And I reblog a lot of animals.

If you don’t remember why you’re following me, it’s probably because of my old Dan and Phil content and fanart

'being disabled is a full-time job' actually with most full-time jobs you get evenings and weekends off, plus holiday time and potentially other benefits like healthcare and dental. we don't get to clock off from being disabled nor do we reap any benefits, material, social, or otherwise. hope this helps

Being inclusive to autistics as an autistic is recognising and accepting that we all have conflicting wants or needs.

You may hate bright lights but another autistic may love them.

You may hate being in crowds but another autistic might love that.

You may hate tags on your shirt but another autistic may actually like having tags on their shirt.

You may love bland foods but another autistic may love rich or extreme flavours.

You may love infodumping to people but it may be too overwhelming for another autistic.

A spectrum includes all ends of extremes. And all of it deserves to be accepted and accommodated for.

“every time i see this celebrity they look younger!” cool, it’s plastic surgery

it’s not pilates, it’s not skincare, it’s not moral virtue manifesting in the form of physical beauty, you’re not gonna grow old like that, they didn’t even grow old like that, and the cosmetic procedures you can afford are not gonna look that good

also the new popular comment to make is "lol [actress] has taken the substance" and it's like...yeah. that's what the substance was about

despite what some of you seem to think there has unfortunately never been a golden age of tumblr where "men have privilege over women" was an uncontroversial statement

like making a post even suggesting anything to that effect has been a pretty reliable way to get relentlessly harassed basically since the moment the servers went live

what "no sugar added" should mean: the natural sugars of the other ingredients like fruit are the only source of sweetness in this product

what is actually means: we added a fuckton of artificial sweeteners

i see we are all angry about this
