Hi, I shared your poem 'the boy who cries wolf' wit my fourth graders before a creative writing assignment and many connected, one of them in particular, who shared the gist with his mother. She would like to add it to a weekly newsletter the children collate and share online with their peers. Requesting permission to share it for the same.

Hi! Yes of course <3 thank you so much for asking for permission and I'm so sorry if I answered this too late! x

Do you ever wonder what I look like in a sundress?

i miss you in the moments between, when i'm on the train from A to B and there's nothing left to distract me. the moment between sleep and awake, when i momentarily forget how hard i tried to not think of you yesterday. i think it's sad we didn't get to see each other through every season. the sun found its way back to me but you did not, so now my mind only knows you in beanie hats and sweatshirts. do you ever wonder what i look like in a sundress? why does this loss feel like mourning when nobodyis dead? does she wear your t-shirts to bed? what shade of golden does the sun turn your collarbones? i'll add them all to the list of things i'll never know. i'm stuck in the moments between the girl i was with you and the person i'm becoming. in between hurt and healed. in between just text him and don't you dare. in between we're strangersand i see you everywhere.i can still hear your voice but i can't imagine what you'd saywith it.all i can hear is spring sayingwhy aren't you growing out of him? and the truth is, i don't know. is there a cheat code? i'm not there yet. do you ever wonder what i look like in a sundress? - srwpoetry
