I cannot rewatch season 1 of criminal minds without mourning how un-traumatised everybody was. Hotch had literally ZERO wrinkles. JJ had such a baby face. Morgan had HAIR. And don’t even get me started on baby Reid ✋😭

& what if I headcanon that Emily can't have kids?

& so then when she meets reader & reader has a daughter, she's immediately so soft with said daughter.

& then when the daughter eventually calls Emily "mom," she cries?

& so whenever said daughter compliments Emily, she's fighting back tears. Because a little girl thinks she's the prettiest girl.

"You're so pretty, mommy. I want to look just like you when I'm grown up"
