Lakshmi in Sanskrit is derived from the root word lakแนฃ (เคฒเค•เฅเคทเฅ) and lakแนฃa (เคฒเค•เฅเคท), meaning 'to perceive, observe, know, understand' and 'goal, aim, objective', respectively. These roots give Lakshmi the symbolism: know and understand your goal. A related term is lakแนฃaแน‡a, which means 'sign, target, aim, symbol, attribute, quality, lucky mark, auspicious opportunity'.

that's very interesting! thank you for sharing!

I threw together a quick chart. The colors are just an estimate based on the computer screen so feel free to pick your own. I did my best with the wreath but I was really squinting at the screen trying to pick out the different green stitches โ”โ (โ ย โ โˆตโ ย โ )โ โ”Œ
