HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 💜

sorry i'm not here as much as i'd like, family's had me in a chokehold during the holidays & i'm moving into a new bedroom this week! So i'm hoping after that move into a quieter environment it'll make writing ( and being a hermit ) much easier.

But good riddance 2024, you were full of much needed lessons, but also a lot of loss. This year was full of so many hiatuses too & I did not get as much accomplished with writing and world building as I hoped for this year. But it happens. Hoping to make 2025 much more happy & full of recovery. Aiming to be a lot happier, welcoming in better energy, & focusing on friendships. Hoping to gain more energy for writing, world building, and building up dynamics here. Less hiatuses & more positive energy is the resolution this year. 🎊

Thank you moots who have been so abundantly patient with me & have even decided to continue interacting & wanting to keep / develop our ideas together. Coming back to find open arms for me & my funky little muses always gets me emotional. It means the whole world to me to know I always have friends to come back to this hellsite for. Sending all of you much love to bring in this new year with!

alrighty, i'm cracking my knuckles & getting things back in order this week since i'm off a majority of it. now that thanksgiving is over ( thank god. ) i'm going to go through drafts, asks, do some early winter cleaning.

but um would moots still be interested in developing dynamics with me & keeping things? I know I left for a while & just kind of fell off, but I feel a lot better now to be back and in a better headspace. I'll probably make an official 'i'm still interested in you' dynamic / interaction call later. but you can have this. 💜

HIATUS NOTICE.

hey moots & cuties,

as i'm sure many have already assumed i'm on a hiatus & will be for another few weeks. i'm hoping to be more stable emotionally and mentally by the end of November, but right now i'm just not in the right headspace for roleplaying. I have a lot changing at home & i'm feeling pretty stressed out. my spare time's been spent hanging out with friends & playing comfy games. its my first holiday season in a while without my cat and i'm still heartbroken about it. i understand i owe a lot of thread replies, inbox responses, & what not. and while i'm gone if anyone drops any of our threads & ships, i completely understand.

i just need some time to focus on feeling better & reestablishing a better headspace this month. but please don't think this doesn't mean i wont be back, i fully plan to return by the end of the month. but sending you all much love & care! 💜

A sigh parts lips as arms fold behind her head in thought. If she were in his shoes, without knowing what happened, what would she do?

ACTIVITY UPDATE!

Good morning moots! I hope everyone's having a wonderful start to their week.

I just wanted to give a heads up that I will be doing away with icons. It's just too tedious on me with the amount of muses I have now & the ones I plan on picking up in the future. I was never one for batch editing so I always made icons for replies as I wrote. But honestly it takes up so much time, so much space in my computer, & honestly it leaves more appeal to make & reblog pictures / artwork / visuals of muses.

So I plan on making answered banners for muses & just having a few of my favorite icons of them on there for now on. 💜

just a not so little reminder...

not every day can be amazing. not every day can be fine. and not every day can even be normal. and you know what?? that's okay ( just okay. ) why? because that's life. no one should expect you to be happy, energetic, & a ball of sunshine all the time. no one should be expecting you to be here all the time to answer replies and threads. you're allowed to feel out your sad moments. you're allowed to take a day to just not be okay. you're allowed to just say 'fuck it' and take as long of a break from things as you need. you're a living & breathing being! take that break, silence those DMs, take a step back and just try to find your peace again.

but at the end of your bad or sad day ( or days. or weeks. ) just know you have people who love and care about you. you have a reason to get back up & try again. you'll always have a reason to. soo tldr; take that well deserved break and let out those overwhelming feelings, just don't let it consume you. you're stronger and better than that. 💜
