Chapter 752
Saw a post of an au where Conan gets adopted by the Forgers and you know what I think he'd have two more involved and caring parents in his life if he was adopted by the Forgers; they'd actually be around and care about his wellbeing, as much as they're both not actually yknow, biologically related parents to Anya
And that's saying something about the Kudos as parents tbh
Vol.49 Ch.503
In manga, Haibara sees Ran as similar to her deceased sister. Possibly because Ran also cares about people like she did, and tried to protect Haibara from Vermouth in the previous arc
Ran doesn't look down on her like some adults would and instead believes her that she needed to stay where she was when she saw Haibara panicking
I never really thought about their (Haibara and Ran) relationship because I'm a hardcore Shinran shipper and it's a murky sea of shipwars out there that I distaste but
from my reread, I like reading their interactions. Haibara gradually warming up to Ran and Ran is her usual warm self. It's like watching a hot and cold cat getting close to a person and tolerating their presence lol
Ch313
Ch434
Ik it's impossible but it'd be kinda cute to have the two interact more in an accidental scenario, like, maybe they both went to the same clothing store at the mall and the gets involved with a suicde bomber or some kind of criminal
And the two of them has to work together. Both of their brains and Ran's agility 👏👏👏taking down the criminal yesss. Only in my dreams lol.
[Updated Version]
Conan Edogawa by the different Animation Directors who worked on the show during the traditional animation era (001-284).
須藤昌朋 Masatomo Sudo is the Character Designer of the show.
Note : One of the reasons why some animators have "deviated" so much in their approach is that Sudo likely updated his character design sheet to better match Gosho's evolution. (This applies to Sudo himself, Muranaka, Shishido, Hiraoka, Sasaki etc... Hamatsu and Ishida also follow this new approach to Conan, as they joined the production later. Regarding Aono, his style evolved rapidly, especially with less roundness. He wasn’t really impacted by the character design change, on the contrary, I’d say it even worked in his favor.)
The more cartoon-y, more early manga artstyle it is, the more i love it 📈
"Case Closed (Vol. 1)" by Gosho Aoyama
The first phase art was so beautiful I wish it stayed that way
