but it's one summer, over in a flash

Currently doing an Insomniac's Gambit. For those of you who don't know, this is when you mess up your sleep schedule badly enough that you attempt to fix it by skipping an entire night of sleep then going to bed at a reasonable hour the next day. Crucially, it does not work

"yeah dude I'm gonna sleep in 20 minutes" -- the most "will stay up another 4 hours" guy you've ever met

Okay but get this -- they'll *never* expect the rare Double Insomniac's Gambit

every year the Ides of March feels like a fun little meme, but this year it actually feels more like trying to cast a spell

regardless of whether it's a real phenomenon or not i have to hand it to spontaneous human combustion for being such a deceptively professional-sounding combination of words for the funniest explanation for anything on the planet. cause of death: their body just did that.

translator's note:

having mutuals who i think are really cool and get like. starstruck when they interact with me. is so weird. like why am i reacting like this. we’re literally both on tumblr

i’m like a baby clown sitting in a circus honking my little nose and then sometimes a REALLY COOL CLOWN who has inspired me in my own clownery and who i bother regularly in hopes of friendship sits down and claps as i honk my stupid little clown nose. but the thing is that we’re still both clowns in the same circus

beaming a message into the minds of all autistic 12 year olds: the way people treat each other in th shows is actually really really mean in real life. don't do that. literally anything but that. Thank you

please help nader @abdalsalam1990 and his wonderful family!!!

"Hello, I am Abdul Salam Al-Anqar, 26 years old, married to Aya Al-Batniji and I have a little girl named Iman who is (1 year old). My family consists of seven members: my mother Iman (49 years old), my father Ahmed (54 years old), and my brothers Mohammed (14 years old), Nader (17 years old), and Omar (21 years old).

Due to the devastating war in the Gaza Strip, our homes were completely destroyed and became uninhabitable. We were forced to flee to the south, and we are searching for safety, as we were displaced more than 9 times, suffering from harsh conditions. We suffer from severe shortages of water and food, and my daughter suffers from malnutrition due to the high prices of food and its scarcity, in addition to the closure of the crossings and the ongoing siege."

This fundraiser is vetted by @gazavetters, number four on the spreadsheet here
