OK I DELETED MY ORIGINAL RESPONSE BUT I SC THE QUESTION I didn't like my original response at all srry but I think it mostly depends on my mood if that makes sense. I use he/she for tord less as a gender thing and more just as pronouns but I can see her as a transwoman, it again depends . like last post i said yaoi so that's like an exception but also I rlly don't think abt captions that hard lol . SOMETIMES when I headcanon characters as different genders from canon it's not really a "this or that" but more of a "yes" bc its flexible for me, I can see both being true
