this made me cackle LMAO. she is absolutely a swiftie and you nailed both eras as her personality !! (especially fearless)
they're in matt's car after one of his late gym sessions. sunny's in the passenger seat, sipping on a smoothie with her feet pressed against the dash, half-dozing while they drive.

wondering if i should make some more playlists for this au lol. i have one right now that is kind of a compilation of stuff i feel fits the vibe of their eventual relationship/their individual lore/etc., but i'm thinking about making separate playlists. like one for matt's taste (or maybe his workout playlist), one for sunny, and then keep the one that i think fits their relationship.
would appreciate any thoughts on this/if you guys would be interested in any of these!

matt hates arguing before a fight. it messes with his focus, throws off his rhythm. and the thing is, this one was stupid too—something about her getting a ride with a friend he doesn't care for instead of chris and nicole. he didn't mean to sound controlling, and she didn't mean to get so defensive, but they'd both snapped, and she'd left without saying goodbye.

oh, for sure. especially bc he's an insomniac, so all he really does is think while he's trying to force himself to sleep. he hates it because being in his own head for too long forces him to confront things he doesn't like to think about, so eventually his thoughts will wander to sunny which is like a safe place for him.
