My mum wanted to go to my reading event with me but unfortunately she’s ill, so it’s probably for the better, if I just go on my own. I still need to pack and prepare for that, but I am also behind on uni work and I’d really just rather write than do anything else, but what can you do.

Really enjoying my computer security class, and my swimming lessons!! The teacher said my crawl was passable today, I'll take it! 🏊🏻‍♀️

Found groups for all my projects, so that's one less thing to worry about, now I just need to wooork and get the best grade possible.

four winters after i read the odyssey for class, i begin the iliad. i lost all my notes from first year, so i guess i’ll have to do a reread

2025. 02. 04 | Slow Tuesdays.

I don't have a work shift on Tuesdays, just Dutch class, so I can take it easy and slow. Not that on work days, I am overly stressed, but for some reason, I can't do anything else if I have a shift that day.

I'm enjoying my coffee with oat milk this morning with the second child following me around the house, while the first one ignores me. She loves her dad more.

My friend lent me a couple of books, one of which is the third Jonathan Franzen novel I will read, Crossroads. I absolutely loved The Corrections. It was rough reading it around the holidays with all the family and "are you guys going to have kids" talk because family is so complicated and he writes so well.

After lunch, I'll go restock our house/food supplies and prep a nice dish for dinner. A had to go into work today and what is food, if not an act of love.

maybe maybe a mistake taking astronomy; idk why I thought I'd suddenly be a physics mastermind just bc I have more motivation for it now.
