The official poster for the Lumen series, as well as what I consider the main theme.

I fucking struggled with this picture here and iโm not even completely satisfied with it damn.
Little Luci showing off his ring like โlook at this, its amazing isnt it? My husband gifted it to me!โ
I know he keeps on mentally brag about it, and maybe even not that mentally
The riiiing!! Woop!!! I like to imagine he mentions the ring to more or less everyone he meets.. XD
"Did I show you-" "Yes, dad... Yes you did..."
Hello hello hello!
I absolutely have no idea of the reference I used for this picture. Maybe still Vogue? Maybe Elle? I dont know
What I DO know is that that shirt is another one of Ducks & Ducklings products! Why I have the sensation that i will do a full Magazine only to explore Ducks & Ducklings products??
Eheh
Can you translate the page on Google? I was trying but it just said "unable to translate this page". It suddenly stopped translating and I couldn't do it anymore.I think it might be something on Google.
What page? The translation tool on my phone works fine, but I haven't checked on laptop. Could be a bug or just that you have to try again. Restarting the app might work. You could also google the problem and see if anyone has had the same issue. Usually, someone has and they have a solution :D
Helllouh my ducklings! Another reference from Vogue, at least thats what Pinterest says and i dont really trust Pinterest.
For this one i even decided to create, because yes i'm that mad, a brand new brand to wear Lucifer with, the
D&D for short, or Du&Du, i'm still deciding to be honest.
What do you think
And of course, ducks are everywhere in this brand
I love those shoes so much XD ๐๐๐ Personally a fan of D&D since the nerds in hell are going to be so confused XD
Sorry for not being present lately my dear ducklings!
I was busy with a little project with @supdudes95 that can not still be released ๐ but stay tuned!
You will see a lot photoshooting from now on lol
I feel most people are going to forget we even teased it, but yeah, one day, hopefully sooner rather than later! Can't wait to show off the finished product!
And as always, awesome drawing!! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ I wonder what Lucifer is saying, though ๐ค "- .... .- - / ... .... .. .-. - / ... ..- .. - ... / -.-- --- ..- .-.-.- / -- .- -.-- -... . / .-- . / ... .... --- ..- .-.. -.. / ... - .- .-. - / .-- . .- .-. .. -. --. / -. --- .-. -- .- .-.. / -.-. .-.. --- - .... . ... / .. -. ... - . .- -.. / --- ..-. / --- ..- .-. / .-. . --. ..- .-.. .- .-. / --- -. . ... ..--.. / .. -- / -. --- - / .--- ..- ... - / ... .- -.-- .. -. --. / - .... .- - / -... . -.-. .- ..- ... . / --- ..-. / - .... . / -.-. .... . ... - / ..-. .-.. ..- ..-. ..-. / -... - .--"
Probably... XD
This new poster is freaking gorgeous. Also, happy birthday!
Thank you so much!! I've wanted to make a proper poster for the series for months, now, and I felt like making it for my birthday was a fun time to do it XD
I got really happy with the background, so I made a version with just the background, too XD
Too bad Alastor hides the car in the main poster XD
It's not always easy XD
Posted this on bluesky and felt like sharing it here too. It's from a conversation I had with @fasyofficial and I sent her a video of that cockatiel that sings "September" at 7 in the morning and felt it fit radioapple XD
Is your Alice in Wonderland Hazbin AU going to be a full-blown story? If it is, I AM ALL FOR IT. PLEASE MAKE IT, I BEG YOU.
PS. I love both your writing and artwork!
Oh absolutely XD It's going to be a monster, let me tell ya!
I'll focus on finishing my Lumen series first, but Wonderland is being planned on the side. It's not going to be a series, but it's going to be a very long story, based mainly on the books by Carroll, with some inspiration from the first Burton movie.
I'm hoping to make a proper announcement about it soon, but for now, just know it's in the works, and that I'm so excited to share more of it when the time comes!
And thank you so much!!! ๐๐๐
Alastor from my upcoming Wonderland AU applying his eyeliner XD This came from a conversation with @fasyofficial who sent me a picture of someone using a knife to apply eyeliner. We agreed it's how Al does it in the story, and so I had to do a very quick drawing of it XD (Which is why it's not that clean XD)
Damn, I can't wait to share more of this AU with you all, you guys have no idea...
how do you write so much? I am astounded and deeply impressed
Ooh, good question! It's this weird combination of experience, having a story to tell, being a fast writer and just studying something that allows for a lot of free time (few lectures, "few" assignments, but a lot of reading on your own). So, I write every single time I have some spare time, and I write it as spotless as I can immediately, so I can just read through it quickly and edit it before I post my chapters. (I still have to prioritize my studies, of course, and right now I'm in the middle of a few presentations + I'm moving apartments soon, so since I want to finish those things before focusing back on my series, I'm working a bit on my upcoming Wonderland au right now)
I like to say it's like I'm writing like I'm reading a book from my own mind and my hands are the translators. I want to read what happens next XD It feels pretty similar to when you get hooked on a book or a fanfic and you just can't put it down because you want to keep reading!
My series helped me a lot with my speed, though. It got easier and easier to write longer chapters the more I wrote during summer when I had time for it, and by the time I got to the end of the second story in the series, I had completely ruined my own ability to predict word count for each chapter... It might be difficult to believe, but before I started the Lumen series, I was pretty good at predicting XD Now I end up with 10k word chapters in a day or two, and 5k feels like I've written 2k.
All that being said, though, my imagination is maxed out, so writer's block barely exists for me unless what I'm writing is really complex or has a lot of details that need to be added and tied into that wonderfully satisfactory knot that holds the entire story together ;D
So to sum this answer up; experience, time, training, high level of imagination, and grammatical knowledge that you know well enough for it to become automatic and mostly right on the first write
I hope that kinda answered your question! Thank you! <3
