the IDF buried a medic they murdered with his phone, as well as the ambulances, which is why we have that video now that the corpses and ruined emergency vehicles have been recovered from the mass grave the IDF dumped them into

The group behind the "Hands Off 2025" protests in the United States is quite literally just a Democrat party front group serving to funnel energy against Trump away from progressive forces and to a pro-NATO, anti-Palestine Democrat movement - it's the typical Democrat strategy of cooptation, but this time without directly associating it with the Democrats, because they are simply too unpopular now for that to work. Here's their about page:
They treat an attack on one as an attack on all - unless Palestine is under attack! Their leadership page lists only these two executive directors:
The purpose of this group is to funnel people and resources into phone banking and canvassing for Democrats, protecting bourgeois rule and serving as another mechanism for subtly repressing the development of progressive groups. It's a way to take highly motivated and politically active people who are dissatisfied with the existing system in the US and funnel them right back into that system, preventing them from joining or starting revolutionary movements.

Idk why I find it so funny seeing people in mascot costumes sprint and fall
guys this is so crazy to me i feel like we're regressing if we, despite the history of this country droning and bombing civilians and covering it up to, are still led to believe at face value that the people killed were "justified targets this time around!" And now that trump is in charge well the guy and his fascist crew certainly believe who theyre bombing are all guilty, right?
In 2009, the Obama administration conducted "the first known U.S. cruise missile strike in southern Yemen . . . That strike, which killed 14 alleged "militants," also killed at least 41 civilians, including 21 children and nine women, five of whom were pregnant at the time."
The Obama administration would continue to claim that their drone strikes were "exceptionally surgical and precise" and "do not put… innocent men, women and children in danger" but we know then and now there was mass civilian casualties.
In 2013, the administration launched four Hellfire missiles in a counterterrorism operation in Yemen. The Obama administration claimed all killed were militants and terrorists, witnesses said the administration killed a wedding procession
We know that the Obama administration would define militant as any "military aged male" to drastically lower the "non-combatant" death
Biden continued this policy. In 2021 there was footage showing a drone strike killing civilians, seven of the ten those killed children. In fact civilian deaths are so rampant that this "mistake" continues to happen. In Syria, the biden admin claimed to kill an al-Qaeda leader then find out they killed a father of ten children
Now, with the lack of accountability, may we ask why the hell we should believe that this airstrike the TRUMP administration sent killed only the "bad guys". He killed civilians in Yemen before
Whats even more just disappointing is that people not only believing at face value what the administration will say who they target, but the complete pivot from "progressive" people being against droning to just not caring. I was in class this semester and my professor thought it would be a fun learning exercise to ask the class how many civilian deaths would they be alright with if it killed so and so top dictators and people kept their hand up for 100+ civilians. I had to disrupt that shit and say "so would any of you would have raised your hand if it was you and your family at risk of being killed because canada claimed they needed to bomb your town to eliminate a terrorist group and they cant help but kill civilians because its just war?" and surprise i was met with silence.
Can we bring back being against droning? can we make that a mainstream belief again wth.
Trump claims he targeted Houthis
Locals know this is how men gather in general
But sure the neoliberals on here would have you support the airstrikes on Yemen because the "HoUThI TERRORISTS WANNA KILL US ALL 😡" but idk I think droning anyone is bad but basic views like that make me a psyop on here lmaooooo
**Can't argue with me unless you look and read all the previous mentioned articles above

37 people were illegally detained in Bellingham, Washington for the ‘crime’ of speaking Spanish. This is so fucking inhumane and cruel
⬆️ racial unity now is matching funds for the detainees and their families. please help if you can.
it's shameful how long i had to look to find an article covering this story that gives more information besides saying "37 undocumented workers were arrested wednesday." cascadia news and the AP were the only sources i found that include any journalism whatsoever beyond the police report.
Hey, this is local for me. It would mean a lot if you could help out even a little bit.
talked before about how the current imperial cores economic status having risen through Estimated Value empty money with no productive capital behind it has caused a cultural & scientific perspective that the less a country produces material goods, the more developed they are. needless to say, curious as to how this will change as the core goes into recession while china rises
its even an economic theory that The more a country's population creates material goods = The worse state the country is in, because the countries that do imperialism the best obviously and have exported their manifacturing bases to "less developed" countries have the best living standarts. so, one wonders how the Tail Wags The Dog scientific community will (definetely as racistly as possible) explain the coming years
This latest market crash has headlines like "TRILLIONS of dollars were wiped out" and I'm left wondering if those "dollars" were real in any sense at all or just overinflated valuations of corporations.
Is Apple really worth a trillion billion million dollars or whatever? (I don't know the exact number, which should be telling) Are Apple's products really that unique and important to merit such value? I'm using Apple as an example here because you could say the same of many Western companies, but specially in the US.
How much of the US GDP is actually "product" and not over-inflated stocks? To me it sounds that the US markets can just create "money" out of nowhere (by inflating stocks) and that money is considered valid because the United States Dollar is the world's strongest currency... as established by... the United States and... the IMF and the World Bank, which are institutions controlled mostly by... well, the United States. Que picardía, no?
How much of the US economic power is actually because of things the US produces and does and not just because they use the almighty dollar to artificially project their economic hegemony?
I don't know, but I guess we might get answers real soon.
i don't think it's quite true to describe it as "overvaluation of corporations." it's true that what's being valued there is largely not productive capital, but financial instruments. however, the value of the US dollar isn't simply wished into reality by collective delusion; it does reflect real economic power. imperialism raises the value of the dollar (by leeching labor value & natural resources from other economies), but one of its fundamental problems is that the people of the core have to be paid in those dollars. the overbuilt financialization of the US economy follows on from that, as in addition to directing imperialism abroad, financialization ensures that extracted value brought to the core still pools at the top.
in a sense, i think you can understand what we're seeing as the top and bottom ends of the US economy being squeezed. the "bottom" - real productive labor (mostly done by migrants & some of the most precarious citizens) and extracted resources - is struck by tariffs & sharply curtailing that inflow of resources & disrupting existing production. the "top" - the speculative value & financial capital - is indeed unstable and sort of illusory in its paper value. it's built on confidence in the continued operation of the productive capital it controls.
that disappearing market cap is "real" mostly in that it reflects the real expenditure of labor to direct value to the owners of financial capital; its loss means a loss of confidence in the market and the retreat of some amount of global capital from the US. we know, of course, that the people doing this are making a kind of fucking stupid bet that this will somehow bring back a whole bunch of productive capital. they're also hedging by personally enriching themselves on the drop & picking the bones of state capital & redistributive programs. ("surely they can't be so stupid as to think that manufacturing will actually come back?" well, yes and no. some of them are true believers, some aren't, but by and large all of them are still counting on that hedge.)
this is sooooo beautiful to watch especially where they were almost identical and lando was even ahead for so much of the lap and you can see exactly where max eeked out that 0.012s. really goes to show how minuscule the differences are in a perfect lap, and also their different styles, approaches to kerbs and braking!!!
if you go to very end of the video at Turn 16-17 you can see how that one braking completely erases Lando's lead. There's where Max found pole, and if he couldn't make that corner that would've binned it completely
