happy late any sport in a storm anniversary!!

Aw!! Your posts are so cute!!

Do you have any handy tips or tricks for learning how to draw characters that look accurate, while also still being in your style? I've been working on Huntlow fanart of my own lately, and it's a longggg process, especially for our little angsty boi Hunter.

Anyway, I love your art, and I find it inspiring! I hope to feel as confident as I feel you are when I look at your art. โค๏ธ

Wow, first of all, thank you for your compliment. This is the first time someone has described me as confident.

Secondly, in fact, I don't think I have my own style at all. I don't think I've reached that level yet. Before laying a solid enough foundation, I think you can only choose one between "look accurate" and "maintain your own style."

Regarding drawing, I don't think I'm qualified to give advice to others, but if you need it, yes, creation is a long process, but everything you learn can help you speed up. In fact, before I drew Huntlow for the first time, I had been using Procreate for three years. Although I've drawn more in these few months than in the previous two years, drawing still requires accumulation.

And because I'm better at drawing girls, it's actually a bit difficult for me to draw Hunter. When drawing him, I need to pay more attention to whether he's drawn too round, because he's a slender boy, and his face will be more square and the lines will be tougher.

As for the secret to drawing, I'm not a naturally gifted person, so I don't think there is such a thing. The way to improve your level is to see more, draw more, and practice more. In fact, I think looking at other people's paintings is already a trick. Many great artists share their unique understanding of pictures, colors, or characters on various platforms, which inspires me a lot.

I think learning methods should vary from person to person, so the advice I can give is actually just my personal opinion. The only advice I can give about drawing is to pick up a pen and draw, no matter how bad it is. As long as you pick up a pen, what you draw belongs to you.

When I look at my earliest paintings now, I think, "Oh my god, can a human draw this?" But only by realizing your shortcomings can you improve and draw better, although at the same time it took me two years to get rid of the obsessive pursuit of perfection.

Since I started to like Huntlow, I started to publish my paintings online. The beautiful relationship between them really fascinates me. I have so many things to draw about them. If I have to draw each one perfectly, then I will never be able to draw all my ideas.

And I may spoke too much again.

Myย friendย toldย meย thatย Iย reallyย haveย aย tendencyย toย beย garrulous,ย so,ย theseย areย someย suggestionsย aboutย drawing? I typed too many words and may be talking nonsense, but thank you for your compliment.

And the way I talked about approaching painting might have been a bit too serious. If it's just a hobby, being happy is the most important thing.

The beginning of the story.

Ain't no way you've done ANOTHER one.

LOOK AT THEM! THEY'RE ALREADY PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER!!

I love the softness of this picture. I'm not sure of the technical wording, but it makes it seem dreamlike, maybe like a memory. It's so calming and soothing.

Stunning. Beautiful. I have no words. Incredible work, as always!!

You completely understood what I wanted to express! I'm so happy!

Werewolf hunter, fox gus and dryad willow, plus the cutest flapjack!

The idea mainly comes from 'What A Big Heart You Have, My Dear' by @fianightshade

Willow and her fluffy boys! They all look so ethereal. So shaped lol. (Your doodle lines are fun to look at <3) This feels like a storybook illustration.

Hope you like this painting! Actually, I wanted to paint something about Desideratum, but when I started, I realized I'm really bad at drawing dragons, so I settled for drawing canines and ordinary bird-shaped flapjack, which I'm relatively better at!

At the same time, I have a question I wanted to ask you if possible. I rarely see animalized images of Willow, so I have some doubts about it. If Willow were an animal, what kind of animal do you think it would be?

You know! It's gonna sound strange, but for some reason, I'd picture her as a European Badger? Something cute but that has more temperament than you'd expect. Or maybe a bear. They can be pretty peaceable but really mess you up if you get in their way. (Or a chipmunk. Those little things are actually pretty feisty lol.) So many possibilities!

I've seen a few pictures where people have drawn her as a bunny, too, but personally I think it doesn't fit her later character arc, even if it is cute.

Wow, thank you for answering my question!

The badger is Hufflepuff's representative animal, which makes sense, since I think Willow would be a Hufflepuff.

I actually asked this question because I thought Willow's animal image would be a bear, because bears are cute and strong, and Clover is a bee. Or a plowing ox, very peaceful, and in line with the idea of spring.

Your answer gave me a different perspective! Thank you!
