Izzy Stradlin's Apple Crumble Recipe
apparently during the Use Your Illusions tour, no one was sober enough to eat, except for Izzy. the tour's head chef ended up sharing Izzy's apple crumble recipe in his interview.
Izzy baking desserts is just so adorable, I have to share it with everyone 🥹 I haven't had the chance to try this yet, but here's the recipe for you guys:
Ingredients:
For the crumble:
- 300g/10½oz plain flour, sieved pinch of salt
- 175g/6oz unrefined brown sugar
- 200g/7oz unsalted butter, cubed at room temperature
- Knob of butter for greasing
For the filling:
- 450g/1lb apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1cm/½in pieces
- 50g/2oz unrefined brown sugar
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
Preparation method:
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
- Place the flour and sugar in a large bowl and mix well. Taking a few cubes of butter at a time rub into the flour mixture. Keep rubbing until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Place the fruit in a large bowl and sprinkle over the sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir well being careful not to break up the fruit.
- Butter a 24cm/9in ovenproof dish. Spoon the fruit mixture into the bottom, then sprinkle the crumble mixture on top.
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until the crumble is browned and the fruit mixture bubbling.
- Serve with thick cream or custard.
Less than 30 mins preparation time
30 mins to 1 hour cooking time

Bunny Corcoran - Wooyoung Ateez
You guys might be dissatisfied with this choice and truthfully, I am too. Richard had made Bunny to be the most unlikeable person possible without proper reason too and this nauseous sensation left a bad taste on my tongue, which kept me from picking a good candidate for the place of Bunny. But if there is a redeeming quality we know about Bunny, is that he is quite funny and socialable. From the familiarity I have with Ateez, I found Wooyoung to be quite a charmer and joker, which applies to the cateria of Bunny's characteristics.

Francis Abernathy - Stray Kids Hyunjin
This is literally the perfect cast for me. When I imagined Francis, I think of someone slender and somewhat androgynous visual, perhaps a little glamorous even. Not in the flamboyant way but more of the housewife of Beverly Hills type of way. I hope that doesn't sounds off but I mean it in the best way possible. Hyunjin have somewhat of an androgynous and glamorous face, all while maintain that elegance and regal appearance that Richard glamorized.

Henry Winter - Treasure Haruto
It was so hard finding somebody who can embodies Henry Winter as well as Jay. But if you based things off appearance, I think Haruto has more potential than Jay. Haruto has a very manly visual, tall frame, and also pale skin. If I remembered correctly, aside from being tall and domineering, Richard had described Henry to be pale which gives me the image of a ghostly appearance. That further seperated Henry from the background, making him stands out at all time. And for Haruto, I kid you not I gasped the first time I saw him. He has a very unique visual overall, not androgynous which people usually associates with unique beauty or visual, he really just have a nice facial structure and it encapsulate Henry's out-of-this-world presence.

Charles Macaulay - TXT Beomgyu/Enhypen Sunoo
I had such a hard time deciding the two therefore I just added both. As Richard told us, the twins look very similar meaning Charles would've looked as pretty and as ethereal as Camilla was. Another to be noted is Charles have a blatantly horrible personality, manipulative and selfish. At least in the fandom au, Sunoo's appearance suits the 'wolf in the sheep clothing' trope so much I could not help but add him in. While Sunoo was a great pick, Beomgyu seems to blend more into the story setting. Not to mention, the two looked quite similar to Winter so I really can't decipher.

Camilla Macaulay - Aespa Winter
As described by Richard, Camilla is like a 'brimble rose', 'statue of diana' and petite. Additionally, she is said to look alot like Charles hence I picked Winter. She has that delicate and whimsical features, with a touch of edge that embodies Camilla ethereal essence in my head. Not only that, she has a kpop lookalike that allows be to easily cast them as twins.

Richard Papen - Enhypen Jay
I know alot of people will disagree with me but hear me out. Jay will be a great Henry Winter, but as Richard Papen, he will bring out some traits of the character people tend to overlook. Papen is obnoxious and pretentious, always wearing a facade hiding his background as a Californian just because he thinks it does not fits the chic upper-class flair possessed by the ancient Greek students. In fact, he idolizes them to be something out of a novel, like they are the epitome of class and wisdom. Jay is famous for having that sophisticated and chic aesthetic, and it fits him so well you could say it's crafted. Hence, Jay's aura envisioned something Richard strived to be and perhaps what he thinks he is in the novel (his own narration).
