It’s game day at Newgate High School, it’s the big (insert sport) game with Jonathan playing for his school’s team. He looks toward the audience and still hasn’t seen Sherwin anywhere, his lover texted him something about a surprise whatever that means. As much as it can be fun having Sherwin being so dramatic it certainly can limit their communication. Before he plays Jonathan looks over again but still sees it all. The cheerleaders, the audience with only a few recognizable faces, and the school mascot dancing around like a fool, albeit an adorable one. Where the frick is Sherwin?! Later that game when their team won the mascot was very pumped up. Not only that but he was always spending some time with him, dancing near him, teasing him with gestures, and always waving hi and bye to him. They’re both now in the locker room with Jonathan waiting for Sherwin. He reaches his limit and texts sherwin where he is. But when he hits send he hears a buzz from a phone. And for some reason the mascot is looking at him expectantly. As if he’s waiting for Jonathan to clue together things. Sherwin cant help but be so excited when he unmasks revealing his drenched body coated in sweat with his hair even more untamed than usual. And the smile of his, the biggest he’s ever seen.

Can relate to the mascot thing somewhat; the one at my own highschool was always super energetic, it's easy to perform when people don't know who you are love this hehe

Surprisingly I can see sher and Jon both being background characters. Neither cannot act in a play setting to me. I see Jon being able to sing, but alas, musical roles are more than just singing.
But in the sets where the main cast lament and they both pretend to have a conversation, I can see them both catching up between those scenes :) (whispering ofcourse)

I’m sooo normal I’m making designs for Jon’s parents, ill eventually draw Sherwin’s too
Jon’s dad is mixed Dominican, inherited his blue eyes from his mom, Jon’s grandma. Can see him being a commercial pilot.
Jon’s mom is Colombian and would be a stenographer (someone who makes court transcripts). It’s not clearly stated in her other drawing, but she does have tattoo sleeves of the ocean waves!)
They’re divorced, but would have a co-parent relationship for the sake of Jon. Though I see Jon and his mom being closer compared to his dad, as they can’t see each other that often because of his job.
I think that’s it? Much to think about!

After seeing that there are still people alive from the iahb fandom (THANK YOU FOR EXISTING 😭) I can finally share my hc about that beautiful couple, but first, I would like to share my hc of these guys!
Sherwin 🫀🍂
Full name Sherwin Albert Bernard Jones
I think Sherwin has too many freckles all over his body, curly and very tangled hair as well as fluffy (He doesn't comb it, AH—)
Sherwin is a quiet, calm boy who likes to spend time alone. He's usually seen sleeping in trees or in classrooms drawing small sketches.
At my school, Sherwin loves all branches of art, but his passion is sculpture. From a young age, Sherwin has proven to be an excellent sculptor, motivated by his grandfather, who taught him how to make wooden figures. He's incredibly versatile in this field; he can make sculptures with both wood and porcelain (although he's a bigger fan of clay since at least it doesn't leave as much waste).
He comes from a hippie family; his father belonged to that movement. And let's just say that Sherwin and his two brothers share all those ideals as well.
I imagine Sherwin is an excellent swimmer, learning how to swim thanks to all those summers spent outdoors connecting with nature. And thanks to that, I think he's gotten a little taller and stronger (thanks, swimming, muack).
I imagine his clothing is somewhat inspired by the hippie movement. I can already imagine him wearing warm colors and somewhat loose clothing.
That's what I remember about Sherwin... oh! Maybe he like Koi fish! And blue whales 🌊🐋✨️
And now, here's my take on Jonathan!
Full name: Jonathan Sanchez Del Mar 🦋☁️✨️
Appearance: His skin is brown, soft, and shiny, with small moles on his arms and ribs. He has wavy hair, but he chooses to straighten it because he likes it that way. And what stands out most is his big blue eyes, eyes so beautiful and dreamy that they captivate anyone, along with beautiful, long eyelashes ✨️
He usually wears somewhat tight-fitting clothes; his entire wardrobe is blue or white. I can already imagine him wearing a nice wool sweater with stars.
Jonathan, to me, is a very adorable and sweet boy, with a great passion for the things he loves and a way of winning everyone's affection. However, he also has the slight disadvantage of being overly perfectionist and getting stressed too quickly.
He loves medicine, the complexity of all the branches of that career caught his attention and in my HC, he is a general surgeon 🦋
He comes from a small family and only lives with his older sister, as his parents sadly passed away. His sister is quite protective of him, not wanting her younger brother to suffer or be "badly influenced" by the world.
He loves musicals. He loves acting and singing. I imagine him with a soft, beautiful voice.
His favorite animal is birds, he has a little black bird called "Orion" (it was Sherwin's idea) Jonathan loves to watch birds fly and often dreams of being free like them, of flying and forgetting everything 🐦⬛✨️
